Great video as usual but dude, I am still confused, currently I am having A7iii with 3 lenses. 90mm macro, sigma 14-24mm 2.8 art and the kit lens 28-70 from sony. I am using all of the time the art lens for vlogging but the setup is HEAVY and I am looking for alternatives but don’t which to go with and in the same time I don’t want to spend much money. What do you suggest for me?

Thanks for your concise review and mapping the different type of cameras with no music in the background. If you had to choose for street video point and shoot and documentary between the Sony cameras that you like and the Sony a7c what would be better (I realize that one is full frame and the other not), and which one is better in low light conditions.

I have the zve10, I brought the kit lens separate. When I turn on the camera my lens is blurry can you tell me how to make it clear so I can record and take pictures?

For vlogging, broll, and second angles would you choose the ZV-E1 or the ZV-1 ii? If it is the ZV-E1 which lens do you recommend for a great do all lens that could still possibly fit in a pocket or hip pouch? Thank you in advance for your reply!

Thanks for the awesome review. Other than the zv-1f, which of these cameras has the Sony "shot mark" feature, which allows you to send a 15, 30, or 60 second clip to your phone while shooting?

Still not sure which to get between the ZV-1 or ZV-1F. You mention streaming as a benefit of the 1F, can the ZV-1 do streaming? I want to stream from my couch and having zoom on the ZV-1 would work better for framing my setup without cropping. Touch screen and better autofocus on the 1F sound nice but am I giving up too much even if I am saving ~$200AUD? Thanks and great video!

ZVE1 with updated firmware for live streaming no overheating 120fps and Cine EI. That would be great and a price cut for 1499$ plus small FF newly designed Sony lenses.

Hi, can you advise me which camera to get. I am looking for a budget, compact camera that can take photoshoot and video (more of photo). I do not do vlogging. Another criteria is the low light capability because I intent to take this pocket camera to Finland to take photo from the Northern lights (in the night, I guess). Will the ZV-1 be good enough.

Thanks! I'd recommend the ZV-1F since you can capture wider shots. The stabilization is NOT as good as the ZV-1, so just keep that in mind.

Currently in Japan and considering picking up the ZV1 international version here due to the tax refund (10%). But am really worried about overheating as well as a new model coming out, as this one is almost 3 years old now?

Update: I checked several Yodobashi's, Map Camera, Kitamura Camera and not a single store had international models in stock. Shops were absolutely SWEEPED here, not sure if recently of all the time, but there's no finds anywhere :(

Great video, I'll pass on the ZV-E1, price is a bit on the high side, hard to beat price for performance value of the ZV-1. I've got my ZV-1 and ZVE-10 and that is more than enough for now, If I was ever to upgrade and go full frame in the future I'll save up and get the A7SIII.

Hey Sidney! So I’m about to be new to the content creator world. I’m so torn between the ZV-E10 & the ZV-E1 I can afford the E1 but it’ll take a hit on my pocket. Will I I regret not getting the E1 & going for the E10 as a beginner? (It’ll be more for shooting outside & vlogging)

As soon as Sony took down the viewfinder for reasons of savings for them savings at the expense of the buyer's pocket. As mentioned, the viewfinder is very convenient for taking pictures on a sunny day. So the whole line is not worth it to me Lots of buyers who wanted to purchase and did not purchase the camera because there is no eyepiece.

honestly if you don't know than just get zve10 because you dont need better i wouldn't say zv1 because anyone wanting a proper camera wants interchangable lenses and if you are not gonna buy more than 1 than you would regret it by buying zv1

ZV-1F is a toy, best budget camera with excellent quality is the ZV-E10 with Viltrox 23mm f1.4 or viltrox 13mm f1.4 or Sigma 16mm f1.4.
