I use EVEREST for 15 years. I like the "RELIABILITY". adhu thaane mukkiyam thozhar. If u need realiable one dont look for a new companies go with u r heart. I use OG-ac with this stabiliser. i also bought double booster "everest" for my new ac.

I recently bought a VWI400 model.of vguard too for a 1.5 ton godrej a.c. It is a digital display model and works lovely. My earlier model.of vguard is VND400. As I recommend don't buy branded stabilizer because main parts transformer is aluminium so I am suggesting buy assembled stabilizer with copper transformer.

It is not required but there are circumstances out of our control. In my case, due improper fixing of jammer in transformer in my area voltage went as high as 400v. My tv didn't have stablizer and it went faulty, while those connected to stablizer escaped. In case of ac, it's a ticking timebomb, if the earthing and wiring is not proper.

As an electrical guy I don't believe the rating label. Low/high cutoff should be tested with Variac. Many reputed brands have failed this test. Then both primary and secondary coils should be of copper irrespective of brand. Many AC units have failed and the issues are due to the faulty stabilizers mostly assembled in Delhi and surrounding areas.

@@shobikaravindran4416 it's like you are asking the dentist about his favourite brand toothpaste! To tell the truth I am not using stabilizers for any appliance in my house. Well, If you want a working one then you have to spend around 8 to 10 K for 1.5 ton AC. Be sure it has serial numbered test certificate.

I did this last year !! My bedroom is 10*12 so 1 ton is enough but i bought 1.5ton Daikin non inverter last may month ! Reason : 3 sides are get sunlight so i gone for 1.5ton ! I usually maintain 27degree ! My max EB bill is 380rs and usual current bill is 170 and 250 something ! So i suggest you to go for 1.5ton coz you can use it for smaller room as well as large room like 150 sq ft room !
