Skinny jeans, white ones included, suit me best. I do like the higher waists that we're seeing now but the general skinny cut is NEVER leaving my wardrobe. Oh how I love white jeans! It’s the only time I’ll wear the Canadian tuxedo, blue denim shirt with white denim. Would love to find an ivory or stone pair for winter, keep trying my pure white for our Ontario winters but doesn’t look quite right! Thanks Erin for the ideas! I do wear white jeans year round too! But I do so with varying shades of white e.g. bone/ecru white during winter months. Then the brightest pristine white all summer. Spring/cream shades and Fall/Alabaster shades.

Love wearing white jeans and all white looks. But I don’t like white sneakers with looser fitting white jeans... it has too much of a nurse vibe. Love how you showed beige, nude and tan footwear choices. I think those colors work so well with white pants. I also like dark brown more than black when accessorizing white jeans.

Hi Erin Thank so much for this video. I finally found a pair of white jeans that hide some of my flaws , but on the look out for another. NOW, thanks to you, I will know what to look for. You know I thought about you in church this morning. This was our first time back after a year...we got our vaccines. I wore a midi skirt with a black long sleeve top, a paper clip necklace with two other necklaces and a brown hat with a black ribbon and NOT old lady sandals. I was the only one dressed up and I remembered you said you like to dress up even if no one else did in Telluride. It was kind of exciting to dress for something other than the store. It was also great seeing people who supported us through the ordeal we went through in '18. I can not even tell you how much I appreciate you. Love and gratitude going your way ♡♡♡♡

There are styles that may not be 'on trend' but are tried and true, like skinny jeans, that will never go away. They may take a back seat for a while, but they ain't going anywhere! The 'fashion gurus' just want us to buy the latest shiny new toy.

I love my skinny jeans and I'm not getting rid of mine anytime soon! In my opinion, skinny jeans have made the leap from trend item to wardrobe staple. If you are looking to be trendy, you may want to opt for a more relaxed silhouette, but skinnys are a classic. xo

@@BusbeeStyle I did the shape video the other day too.. and the fact that I’m videos I heard you say that it was normal to not be exactly a certain shape type, RELIEVED ANXIETY about finding cuts that would make me feel confident in! I realized I’m slightly traits of 2 shapes. I’m not 100% by exact definite “x number inches diff” here spot and such and such body spot.. especially since I now have a much chnaged body shape!! I’m 45, and I appreciate your openness about menopause and changes to the midsection of the body related to those hormone chnages… and thr emotional frustration… I am not in menopause, but was diagnosed with Syndrome X 6 months ago which is an insulin hormone resistance to blood glucose presence. It causes the body to not be able to use sugar, and converts any carbs you eat into STORED FAT.. and guess where the disease’s #1 fav place tk store that carb converted fat is??? THE BELLY!! It hits up skin layer tissue AND internal abdomen, the more fat… I now have dietary regiment to lose the obesity, but it has left me at healthy weight, but with that belly “pooch” that man my body just refuses to let go of … so I had to let go! And listening to your story and vulnerability made me feel much better about being middle aged and my tummy… and your videos and your personality so perfect to pick us up …. I honestly feel my mid life crisis is now ending since I found your channel. I love that I have found out that being 45 is cool!!! There is no more I got old and don’t know what to do with myself to feel pretty, despair! I have bought higher waisted jeans, I bought tops that are like your 2022 videos of styles that hide tummies and part of the year’s trends …. I have even gone out on a few dates and with friends, and the way I was dressed in my new clothes, I felt sexy and hip and like a million bucks…. I felt like the woman who loved her body, and was confident in her body, and felt like I had a beautiful body, that I had been like years and decades ago! I had stopped having those body image feelings in 2014. Ty for bringing back the fab Christine again who is a different person in personal growth and different body, but back to FAB 🤩

Advice to wear what suits your body type (for me: rectangle = skinny or tapered) versus what’s on trend although adding in of-the-moment elements (like sheer, like pastel) makes so much sense to me. Hi Erin! I always look forward to your inspiring videos! The fact that skinny jeans are phasing out has me concerned though, but it’s not the first time I’ve heard that. I am 5 feet 112lbs, flat tush but I carry my weight in my stomach, so skinny jeans lift my rear, accentuate my legs (both which I like) but I’m left with a muffin top that I cover with a blousy top. Being that I’m short, wide leg jeans tend to overwhelm me, so I really worry about the skinny jeans trend leaving. 😔

@@jenlaird1gmail Zara has some great wide-leg jeans in different colourways. They are long, so you may have to have them shortened. I am 5'7' for reference. I just went to my tailor (my dry cleaner) and she did it for me. Or if you are brave enough, you can do it yourself.

Great film and beautiful photos. IMO white jeans look best with top, which has a pattern including color white for example navy blue blouse with white polka dots. Top in your best neutral colour also looks great. IMO white t-shirt with white jeans often looks like a doctor uniform. In that case it's best to add a colorful belt and colorful bag. I'm rectangle and after several trials the best white jeans for me are suprisingly high rise bootcuts, not skinny jeans.

I have been struggling with white tones....pure.white in particular...my favorite tone is a yellowish cream because my skin is warm and hair is warm blonde...pure white on top tends to wash me out. I have purchased alot of white shade clothes this Spring for the first time in decades bec I lost a little weight and feel more comfortable in them now as a result. I really like to combine my whites with blue and white prints on top bec. my eyes are blue...I am going to break down and wear those with my cream jeans since those are my favorites.

I also liked about this white jeans video, showing pics of examples of those diff body shapes in the diff cut style white jean recommendations you were making. I think sometimes I can’t envision suggestions? Like I’ll see what you have on and understand concepts said and if you say find what’s right for you to feel good and confident etc.. and your clear suggestions but isn’t rule, do what works for yourself to feel good above all else, however such and such styles might be a good place for this issue or thiss body type etc.. but here when you often will SAY In videos diff cut terms for body shape, I’m not very good at visualization I suppose.. I guess that’s the great thing about how you show and turn around, and model thr outfit or jacket etc so we see how it works blah blah example… but this video, showing each body shape wearing white jeans you “say” as recommendation to try, and tops/accessories to go with that to try, and then showed the still images of the body shapes wearing what you SAID, it was like a total revelation process to me… not just hearing it, then scowering ther internet for cuts you say to see what clothes I want to go in search of (get ideas in mind to search for in a store so I know what styles I want to grab on racks to try on first.. shooing pregame haha!) now I have SUCH a better idea of what I’m looking for! And the short that says white doesn’t have rules you can’t wear it except summer concept.. it’s late sept and I’m ready to shop for white jeans 😂😂😂 If I do find them, they’re probably on clearance!! 🤣🎉❤❤ thanks for everything Erin!!

I just received my order of white wide leg frayed hem NYDJ jeans for Nordstrom Rack and absolutely love them. I have such a hard time finding jeans to fit my plus size 16 hourglass body so I am stoked. I also got Stuart Weizman beige slide espadrille sandals that look so fantastic with the jeans. This video was great and provided much needed fit/styling info! Thank you! I could really use your help. Every pair of pants/shorts I buy are too big in extreme upper thigh area (almost near crotch). There’s always excessive fabric in this area but fits most other areas. I can’t figure out why or if I’m wearing wrong size fit. I’m 5’3, 140lbs and I have 31 inch waist and 43 inch hips. I don’t have a lot of room between bust and waist area. I usually wear size 12 or 12P. I’ve tried straight, skinny, capris and jeggings (terrible look in white lol). Any help would be appreciated! Unfortunately there are a lot of women who don't fit perfectly into jeans right off the rack. If you have tried all different cuts and brands, my advice would be to seek out the services of a tailor. This will ensure a custom for your body. xo
