The reason there are some countries with names you probably haven't heard of is probably because of how the peace negotiation works in the game. When you hold peace negotiations, you have request to have a province or 2 to become independent.

There's an EUIV mod that adds native tribes to Oceania, as well as additional tribes that existed in the Americas that Paradox just seemed to forget about in the Workshop called Expanded Native Tribes II by someone called mahna mahna. I think maybe it would make a really interesting game. And if you made it, you could release a video with the mod around Thanksgiving maybe idk.
