Nice review! I have been thinking about this myself, I have the exact same clip ones and I have been mulling over getting something my fish can rather just pick at without the nori just floating off into a dark corner for it to be forgotten and become nitrate fuel.

I have used all but the mega. I use scissors to make the pouch holes a little larger. It just makes it a little easier for the fish to get to the nori. Also I coat the wet side with silicone and let it cure as extra insurance against water getting inside of it. Good video Sam. 👍

Nice review Sam. I actually use the innovative marine algae grazers. My panels are 25mm and those magnets hold well. I’d like to try the heavy duty two little fishies magnet as I think it would work well on my tank. I also take my algae grazers out daily and wash them out using fresh water which stops any rust from forming if just left in the tank..

The pouch works great with larger fish so they can't steal all the food. Got angels and tangs around the 12" mark and they still get more than enough, give them the easier option and I'm sure they will go there though. Pouch lasts longer and way cleaner and the smaller fish will wait for what floats away while the big one try get it. Also you can buy the pouches by themselves. Think there is 3 or 4 in the box. Been using them for ages and last a while. I only keep the magnet in the tank when feeding and current one is around 6 years and no swelling.

Hey parker, if you were to revisit the topic of veggie feeding clips 2 years later, which product would you recommend? Have you found some types of nori / seaweed work better than others and what would you advise to buy? Just got a purple tang, looking for a high quality feeding clip and nori, thanks.

I use the standard clip, but remove it when its empty, so its never just sitting in the tank Downside is that this means the fish are generally scared, or at least a little skittish when the clip goes back in. Would I be better to leave the clip in the tank all the time?
