I'm recovering from a wrist injury, and I've spent half a day just watching reviews. In just over two minutes, you answered everything for me! Great video!

Wow. A short, succinct, and useful review, which stands in stark contrast to most other reviews I've seen on pads. Thank you. Now, if only you had this for helmets, and knee and elbow pads.

glad it helped you out! and that's not a bad idea...once I am in the market for those I will for sure! I honestly love protect elbows and knees. I also have protect sweatsaver helmet. I lean more towards them but in the future I would like something more breathable and lightweight

@@IntuitiveReview I have some old Rector knee pads from the 80s. I'm surprised Rector doesn't seem to be used much anymore. They have a website, but, the skate shops don't seem to carry them.

187 are the best. I've been using them for years, including several falls. Never even a scratch on my hand or wrist when using them. They do wear out a bit over time, so generally ever 12-18 months I get new ones, but I always get the same ones: 187 killer pads. They're unbelievable. Great protection but also good flexibility and maneuvering. I promise you these pads will, at some point, save your hands, fingers and wrist.

Wouldn't recommend 187 for aggressive inline if you do handplants/handstand - mine was not usable to do these things so I used a wrist guard hack (use top plastic instead of bottom) & it ended up cracking. :( Will be switching back to my triple 8's!! 😁

Has anyone here tried tsg wrist guards? I just ordered a pair but im not sure what to think after seeing mixed ratings without any solid reviews. Tsg's kneepads are like $100 and they're supposed to be one of the best so that's why i went for tsg wrist guards as well.
@IntuitiveReview

they seem very similar to the PRO TEC design, and durability. I think it would depend on how much protection you want. What type of riding, or activity will you be doing with them?

@@IntuitiveReview ok a little background info: i first started skateboarding very casually when i was 19. 3 years later i quit because it was simply TOO casual, i wasnt learning anything new. Now 10 years later i started skateboarding again. Skipped ollie, went straight for the miniramp. Most of the stalls i do are fakie but i also recently learned revert to tailstall, body varial to nose stall and dropping back in revert (so proud of myself lol) Planning to learn ollie and/or some more flip tricks soon and im hoping to incorporate that in my miniramp lines. I have bad wrists though so i felt i'd better be safe than sorry.

@@DutchDouchebag yes, then I would go with the heavier duty wrist guards. I am similar with my wirst protection when i go hard at the park. Gotta stay safe!
