WWE might be scripted, but the moves still hurt. In fact, some of the moves actually hurt the wrestler performing the move more than the wrestler taking the move. Which moves are those, and why do they hurt? Watch the video and find out.

Hey Maven Guys here. It sounds like based off your experience, there's almost no good/great finishers that doesn't hurt to do night in and night out. There are two moves that I can think that would be great, the problem is that you have never taken them at any point in your career. One is what was formally known as The Steenilizer which was formally used by Kevin Steen (aka Kevin Owens), which was a bridging package piledriver or powerbomb whatever you want to call it. Might be painful to take, but doesn't hurt to do, and looks incredible. The other is known as The Dragon Screw Neck Whip. Possibly the scariest move to take based solely on it's apperence. Essentially a twisting ddt /neckbreaker given to someone drapping from the top rope. Would love to hear your reaction to these moves Maven.

This has nothing to do with wrestling, but I figure I let someone know that my favorite pair of Kit-Kat socks have holes in them, and I am very upset about this.

I only watched wrestling as a teenager for about two years. It was so much fun but I eventually drifted away from it. But watching this stuff has brought back some of the magic of being a teenager again. I still don’t care about watching actual wrestling but it’s neat seeing the curtain lifted now that the kayfabe isn’t so strong.

This channel is such a great way as an introduction to professional wrestling. I have no interest in the sport but this is amazing. Maven you are great for the art.

About moonsault and your question! I never saw Iyo Shirai(sky) miss one! In many cases she lands exactly like she needs to, in some cases that would be hips, but newer mises completely when it needs to connect. That's became my little observation game, because I was amazed by her skill and now I pay attention to that even more. That's interesting enough that she liked Mysterio and his style, when he also has such a good skill with that move.

Usually you see a compilation video of a wrestler's moves. Its nice to see a wrestler analyse their use of moves.

Hey Maven and team! Thank yall for all the amazing content, able to watch for hours. Non wrestling fan friends who've caught me watching also get interested within 30 seconds 😂 Cheers! P.s. was watching the ECW one night stand paperview from 2004 the other night and saw you on the RAW TEAM! Could you do a video of your experience around that fan base? Maybe a video comparing the fans in different parts of the world as a second video too. Here for the ride 🏍

Hey Maven! Your videos are always so well written, paced, and performed. But I think you and your talented team foibled a little at 14:00 xD! You're supposed to be helping us imagine what it was like as non-wrestlers, but then you just describe climbing up on the top rope and slamming your knee on the mat. Maybe an analogy about jumping from your kitchen counter onto a thin mattress? I'm sure you guys could come up with something better :)!
