Heroes have stayed competitive due to always being updated, their one of the few gx decks along with cybers that are still good in modern times but their really basic, a good middle ground is the junk synchro deck from 5ds, lots of chain effects and links, but still being a bit more on the basic side with your usal junk warrior and junk destroyer etc

E Hero is really good for beginner level players , and there is a lot of reprints so it’s not nearly as expensive as some meta decks , good choice 👍

If your new and trying to pick a deck and learn how how play i recommened dueling nexus or deueling book because you get all cards for free and can vs other players online

I wish they focused more on the control aspect of morphtronics, and made support as a midranged deck. Currently no control synchro decks exist as well

@@NeostormXLMAX isn't ice barriers a control synchro deck? Or is that more so the main deck cards and the extra deck leans more towards disruption? Edit: disruption might not be the right term I am using for the synchro monsters

@@makuta294 nah, ice barriers suck, they can't even summon their own synchros lol, its extremely hard to get bodies on board for ice barrier, let alone synchro summon, control ice barrier is just a really bad stun deck that doesn't use the extra deck at all, due to some ice barriers having some effects

@@NeostormXLMAX they totally can get their own synchros out, they can either get normal lv 9 Trish or lv 11 Trish turn one thanks to the support brought from the freezing chains structure deck, judge of the ice barrier from lightning overdrive is a meh card but is another lv 4 body at least, and thanks to brothers of legend, general Wayne has a searchable ice barrier trap card now. I would at least consider them casual control maybe

@@makuta294 i suppose but they still aren't viable in much of any way and barely utilize a majority of their cards. the most promising synchro deck imo that is kinda control, is USARCTIC, with the dark synchro mechanic, however the idea that each of the usarctics require a COST of another one is STUPID. they could have just asked you to REVEAL one usarctic like sword soul cards. so now you always go minus every time. the deck had so much potential and it was basically a control and combo at the same time, and played like midrange

And somehow the deck is still good against some of the meta decks and nowadays nibiru has not been used as much so yeah it is kinda good now

The Mathmech package also has busted it a lot, giving it all the distruptions and the extra omni-negate it actually needed. You can make a 5k Arrival and Superfactorial with GY set for it with Diameter and also Pegasus and Danmari in GY with just 1 card between Cynet Mining/Achichi/Pikari (with A.I. meet you I think you end on a 4k Arrival if you follow the line, but with another generic extender you can just go for 6k Arrival).

And honestly it's kind of great as an anti-meted Deck with the omnimats. If they get some more omnimat support they could be kind of busted

@@NeviTheLettyFan They weren't tier 0. A tier 0 deck means it gets more than like 65% of representation if not more in important tournaments (like YCS or others). VW was one of the best decks in their time as a t1 ( *only* thanks to VFD) and Drytron was just a good t1 at best, but they didn't even reach the representation and the dominance of something like SPYRALS or Zoodiac at their best

Yeah definitely I would also add in crusadia as that’s my personal favorite deck which can otk VERY easily and could also set up a towers in mk crusadia avramax which when combined with other cards can become completely unaffected

Heros be sorta pricey but with reprints they be sorta cheaper coming up

Yugioh has no standard everything is legal outside of a banlist. I've covered or linked deck profiles in my big yugioh tierlist series. Maybe try that if you want to go more in depth.

A thing I’ve noticed about the ban list with Yugioh is that it’s huge, there are a lot of cards on it I’m curious to know why, Magic has maybe about no more than 150 cards to date so far, there are cards being added to it but very rarely. I will definitely be watching your tier list series you’ve recommended 👍 cheers 🍻

That's a fair call. The deck does have a high skill ceiling. However the deck is easier to pick up and start playing

@@nathslifemedia1053 It's open to improvement but here is the one I used against spright runick. Dark Magician can be a brick so if you dont care for red-eyes dark dragoon you can remove them but it's really easy to get dragoon on the field with branded fusion. The basic idea is to use dictator of D or branded fusion to summon albion to send blue-eyes white dragon (or the white stone) to the graveyard, then with bystial magnamhut you add the jets to your hand so their conditional effects are usable. With Hieratic Seal you can get basically whatever you need depending on the situation: do you need a branded fusion? special summon keeper of dragon magic, need a jet? special summon bystial magnamhut to get a jet at the end phase or special a jet directly. To summon draggon with branded fusion send albaz and dark magician as materials for lubelion, then use effect of lubelion to summon dragoon shuffling dark magician and lubelion (or order effect dragon monster to the deck). I try to use magnamhut for interruptions though like a dd crow, when your opponent targets a light/dark monster in the GY to activate an effect, banish it with magnamhut, that's basically how I won against spright. Also if you have the budget use pot of prosperity instead of trade-in but with bystial is pretty easy to get any of the level 8 monsters to your hand to use trade-in. The level 4 xyz are a plan B, if you get interrupted. A few times you will be in situation where you can special summon a level 4, either dictator with its own effect or aluber with branded opening then you can normal summon another level 4 (you have plenty) and if you can't do much else cause you were interrupted, xyz your plan b (thief or bagooska) according to the situation. I thought of the same thing, though a more skilled player could manage to play twins slightly better, still, the skill ceiling is not that high and the deck’s plays are comically repetitive (coming from a twin player who’s about to sell the deck)

Probably depends on which version you are running since if you splash Spright stuff in it raises the ceiling considerably
