11 жыл бұрынSannie Carlson (best known as Whigfield) is the name of a lady with Danish origins who decided to make a mark in the history of pop-dance music by selling millions worldwide.
In 1994 she gained a place in the Guinness Book of Records with the song "Saturday Night" as the first artist to go straight to number one in the UK singles chart with a debut single. Her discography is extremely impressive including numerous hit singles all over the world & four studio albums, a career spanning over a decade which for a pop-dance act is extremely unusual.
After many years on stage Sannie has decided to concentrate on the other side of the music industry, writing & composing for other artists in the business, both DJs & singers with names such as the Grammy winner Benny Benassi, Adam K, Ann Lee and In-Grid.

Tenía 16 años y amaba bailar esta canción con mis amigas. También la llegué a bailar con el novio que tuve a esa edad y hasta teníamos nuestra propia coreografía. A 26 años de aquel entonces, aún la recuerdo, jajajaja! Qué bellos recuerdos! Sé que cada época es hermosa y a mí me tocó ser adolescente en los 90 y principios del 2000. Much like a lot of Euro-dance acts Whigfield's front woman Sannie was not the real vocalist but a pretty face to sell CDs. The real vocalist was Ann Lee who later had the hit "2 Times". The girl in the video for Corona's "Rythm of the Night" was a Brazilian model and not the real vocalist. There are unfortunately many other examples. My point is I don't know If Sannie can even really sing to be considered for the Eurovision.

Soy del 1992 y en mi infancia me crie con esta musica y tengo 29 años y aun la sigo escuchando y creo que la calidad es increíble porque las de ahora puro ritmo repetitivo y aburridor la verdad. Los 90 siempre sera la mejor década.

En 1994 esta era la musica de los sabados por las tardes en mi adolescencia, era la musica de las gomelas y los gomelos en mi ciudad aunque yo de gomelo no tenia nada, me gustaba mucho Charlotte Carlson mas conociada como WHIGFIELD su Musica aun mas. Nunca pude tener sus discos por que en ese entonces los cdis eran muy costosos para un adolescente de 14 años pero algunas vecinas tenian sus discos los ponian a sonar.

Uma das minhas favoritas de Whigfield, que por anos achava que a Sannie Carlson fosse a cantora...É triste saber que fui no show de uma modelo, mas hoje fico feliz de saber a verdade, que a verdadeira voz sempre foi de Annerley Gordon. Hoje eu entendo perfeitamente o motivo da Sannie nunca cantar ao vivo naquela época...

Esos tiempos nunca mas mas volveran era una musica unica con temas inolvidables esa fue mi epoca en que yo tenia 17 ahora tengo 38 y me da gusto poder volver a escuchar los exitos de la época de los 90 trasciendo y me acuerdo de los bonitos momentos en que todavia en las fiestas y disco me hacian ronda y yo bailaba fue algo magico ahora esa música de ahora no se compara espero les guste mi comentario saludos noventeros

If you search for Annerley Gordon, you get, among other, this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ann_Lee_(singer) and there the name Whigfield is not mentioned, not even a single time at all! BUT, if your search for Sannie Charlotte Carlson: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whigfield you will see, that she has EVERYTHING to do with "Whigfield" She also has a Danish accent. Na verdade Annerley recentemente confirmou que ela fez e escreveu muitas mùsica para Whigfield, mas ela só se reconhece como Ann Lee, porque todo mundo tem seu próprio projeto. Desculpe desiludir você màs, que estava cantando en estudio foi Jenny B e Sandy Chambers ... e por La Bouche? Para Ann Lee? Bem, depois de ter passado a maior parte dos anos 90 dando voz a Sannie e tornando-a famosa, ela finalmente encontrou o sucesso que merecia em 1999 com "2 Times". Este tema está bien, pero Saturday Night fue un pelotazo de canción en los '90 y para mi a sido de las mejores canciones que han sacado nunca Yo en bodas que he estado se la pedía al D.J. a ver si la ponían y tod@s nos poníamos con los pasos del baile Como molaba y la canción sigue molando !! La tengo descargada en mi movil y a veces la oigo Me anima mucho, la verdad 💪 Ojalá volviesen los '90 , eramos felices y no lo sabíamos !! LOVE WHIGFIELD !! 😍 🤙
