Hot appetizers can be delicious, but they can also be a lot of work. Hannah shows us how to make a whipped feta and roasted red pepper dip that's simple, can be made ahead, and uses ingredients we often already have on hand.

I'm married 20 years yikes that's a long time!lol. But I have the exact same unit, I got it as a wedding present in 2000. It too is as good as the day we received it. I use it several times a week. My aunt was a chef in Paris & would go to yard sales here and there look for & buy the kitchen Aid stand mixers. Which are hundreds of dollars to buy now & then. She'd pay $20 bucks. She has about 15-20 of them all ages, it's crazy they all work perfectly fine. And I love The nostalgia of it all looking at them.🙂👍 So keep your beloved Cuisinart food processor. 🤩😘

I have you beat by a few years. My mother bought one of the first Cuisinart food processors ever made. She was a pro-cook (she refused to be called a chef, but she totally was) and only bought the best kitchen devices. She used it almost every day. She gave it to me after around 15 or more years. I used it constantly for many years (I've been cooking for more than 50 years, I'm 65). I then gave it to my daughter about 18 years ago when she and hubby put together their first apartment and it's still crushing it! It has to be 45 years old or older. The one I bought to replace it died in less than 5 years. Should I ask for it back? 😁 😁 😁 Jenn 🇨🇦 👋 Hi from Canada

My cuisinant food processor is about 25 years old. A real work horse. The blade never dulled . The plastic on the base warped slightly - too close to the stove flame that day! I did have to Jerry rig the long safety latch as it wore out, but I’m still happy with it. Don’t expect your newer Cuisinart to be as well made... Cuisinart began in 1971, founded by an MIT graduate. They essentially invented the food processor, and they were made in America. Sadly, the company was acquired by the Conair Corporation, and their food processors are now made in China.

Whenever I make my version of this, which is VERY similar, I like to add some well rinsed, finely chopped castelvetrano olives at the end. Have to watch out for the salt content, but if you rinse both the feta and olives well it’s a wonderful treat.
