Hello, trackers!
This time such a repair happened.
Bearings have been going on for a long time. Finally, I decided to take up the topic. I admit that it was my debut when it comes to repairing household appliances. But from the beginning.
Of course, I started all my work with Internet research. You cannot even imagine what my surprise was when it turned out that the manufacturer did not provide for the replacement of such wear parts as bearings. Of course, you can buy the entire drum with a drum at a price exceeding the value of the new washing machine.
The repair method presented on the Internet did not convince me at first, but after consulting with the washing machine repairer, I realized that it might work.
So I went looking for the bearings. After visiting household appliances sites where I was sent back with a receipt, I managed to buy such exotic products as bearings and simmering. So there was nothing else to do but get to work. And here my beloved wife turned out to be an invaluable helper.
I cannot but express my shock at the production policy of Whirlpool and, as it turns out, also of the Polar companies (they also have glued tanks). So much emphasis is now placed on ecology, emission standards for cars are being lifted to the heavens, and here manufacturers impunity and deliberately make it difficult to repair the product, forcing you to buy a completely new item or buy a damaged component with a few others that are not needed. In my opinion, it is a logic as if the entire vehicle had to be replaced due to worn tires ... 🤬
I have not been able to find any information about the size of the bearings needed, so I give:
30mm x 62mm x 16mm and that's 6206
35mm x 72mm x 17mm and that's 6207
Simmering 50mm x 75mm x 11.7mm
I do not consider the repair to be complicated and every technically skilled person should deal with such a topic.
