Great video and thank you for the step-by-step instructions. I thought we needed a new baking element and decided after seeing how easy the job could be to check and re-seat the existing element to see if maybe a power cycle and reseat would fix the issue. That work and skipped the need for a replacement purchase or appliance repair house call. Thank you! Now, on to fixing the dishwasher!

Hi, great video. May I ask, my problem is that it heats up but won't come up beyond 275F. Constantly says 'preheating' on the screen. The broiler is fine but the oven and convection appears to not be working right. My guess is that the thermostat isn't working correctly?

@@KG-yw6rz we are in lockdown as it stands and as I'm a tenant on a small island in the Caribbean I haven't yet taken this further. However I have got the heat up over 275 by setting the temp to 500 in the first place. It rules out baking for the time being, which is unfortunate timing as I have a feeling I'm going to need to learn how to bake bread at some point. I'll try and follow up on appliancevideo.com suggestion

If you don't feel like buying an electric meter to see if it's your wall plug. Try turning in the broiler. If that hearts up than it's not the plug. Element time!

Whirlpool oven “hidden “ baking element & broil element both pass continuity test & look great, but no oven heat from either. First replaced temperature sensor, no change. Second, replaced thermal fuse, no change. Stove top coils all work fine. Any ideas ? Thanks in advance.

My Whirlpool oven is doing the same thing...bake gets to 280...convection & broil both working...originally an F6E1 error that I cleared...then auto test showed DLB-K1 bake element or wiring...

everything works except the baking. your video shows an oven that has no cover over the elements. Mine has a cover - how do I get it off without damaging it?

Nice video. I replaced the bake element but still NO POWER to OVEN. Everything else works (has power). Any advice to the solution?

The problem was both top/bottom heating elements were bad. Replaced them and now it works great. Thanks!

Could this case our oven light to remain on ? We can not turn light off and only heats to 100-110 degrees.

@@luisjara6844 yes it was the mother board (again). It has gone out twice with in one year. They fixed it both time but all together we have been without a stove for 3 month during the first year of owning it. I will never buy another whirlpool stove.

I replaced the heating element in the oven and I pressed on it work for a second now nothing works before the top stove worked completely and it was just the inside element that was broken, now everything doesn’t work😭
