After sanding the steel bands, I jigsaw apart the barrel and treat the wood with linseed oil.

The whiskey charcoal bits should have potash and Potassium is a natural plant food which increases crop yield. Leave it or mix with the soil

Hi Amy, we actually found a use for the charcoal bits … use them on a barbecue or put them on your open fire … they generate a nice smokey smell.
