A Brianna cooking show would be super entertaining, but I am not sure my conscious would let me enjoy it due to the guaranteed high body count such a show would entail. It would make ancient Roman bloodsports look tame in comparison. I seriously thought I was going to watch a tragedy when she went to pour water into the cooking candy. Steam explosions are no joke. My mom used to joke that I employed a whole battalion of Guardian Angles when I was young. I know what those guys are up to nowadays.

Quick Safety PSA, since it wasn't mentioned in the video: If you're drinking anything with dry ice in it, wait until the dry ice has completely dissolved and the drink has stopped bubbling BEFORE drinking it. Dry ice is very cool for presentation, but very dangerous to ingest.

or use a julip style strainer or tea empress bowl to hold it back when drinking

There are techniques to anchor the dry ice in the bottom, but either way not worth the risk IMO. Even a tiny piece can burn its way into your throat.

These episodes are always great fun. BUT, a word of caution: drinking something with a loose piece of dry ice floating around in it isn’t exactly safe. If more than a tiny amount goes down the hatch, it can burn your esophagus.

Loved the vid! Just be careful with things like pouring water on top of caramel. If it causes the molten sugar to splash, those are some automatically nasty burns. Same with the dry ice, swallowing some is very dangerous
