Whisky .com reviews the Oban Little Bay. Oban is Gaelic and means Little Bay. This single malt was produced in small batches and got a maturation in the smallest oak casks of distillery.
The nose:
Light smoky note, coastal aroma, fruity, oak
The taste:
Sweet, oranges, cloves, apples, malt
The finish:
Medium

Great review. Unlike the dude writing below, I highly approve of all of your mannerisms. I just could not emphasize enough the way that original personality, character, feeling free to be yourself... these things help make your videos interesting (OK, so I have counter-acted the silly comment below... you heard it here...). I like the "getting drops out of the bottle", I like the Scottish joke... funny... Tasting notes were great. Thanks.

picked up a bottle tonight. Wanted the oban 14 but they only had this. Really good. Almost like butterscotch with a lil smoke at the end. Not disappointed at all

Had a bottle of this a little over a year ago and just ordered a second one. Very nice indeed, prefer it over the Oban 14 year in all respects. A little water doesn't hurt either.

Funny to hear that joke in the Scottish variant... In the Netherlands we make that same joke about people from Zeeland.. (Maybe you picked that one up at the dutch coast on holiday 😄). Anyway, again a nice review.

I've always heard people say pineapple for a nosing or tasting note. This is the only one I definitively smell pineapple on.

LOL nice joke about the copper wire havent heard that one before Horst, be careful though you might offend some people pulling jokes like that haha great review too never heard of this one from Oban before. I have a bottle of their 14 in my cabinet just havent got around to opening it yet. would you rate this one higher than the 14 year old?

Change the levels of you mics so you don't have to speak in a breathy whisper.. and we don't have to hear the disgusting sounds you seem to relish blasting us with. It completely distracts from the analysis.
