Good evening! It is I! 19th Century Dr. Hastings, here with you again at my medical practise in old Victorian London. You are a trifle deaf and we will be assessing your hearing using the 1885 ‘Auditory Chart’ designed by Arthur Hartmann utilising tuning forks! I will also be showing you some rather fashionable hearing aids so you can hear once more!

My sister is legally deaf but still has some hearing left, but it’s minimal. According to her, this is just what people sound like when they talk. So just consider the video to be extra immersive lol

Loved this video so much (and the research poured into it) that I did detailed time stamps but didn't know someone was also doing timestamps around the same time. Oops! i was studying for this test rinne's test and wedger's test when the tuning fork is put on the bone or the upper part of the skull p.s everyone tests different .... when she assumed that the sound /vibrations stops it was still running for me ,other people might have it stop sooner . but truly wonderful job

Especially tingly for me, I’m deaf in one ear and I’ve undergone tests all my life. One of my first ASMR memories is from a hearing test. Loved the Victoria atmosphere.

Yayyy finally ear exam. I dont know why but I find these are my favourite even from other asmr channels. Maybe it's the time of year cold dark. And its just comforting to hear a soft voice
