"Whispers In The Dark" was an intro song created for Chicago Radio DJ Chris Michael's. Chris held a contest for listeners to submit songs to compete in being used for his radio show intro in 2005. P. Coakley wrote and submitted what is now a the Chicago classic "Whispers In The Dark". The song was so popular on Chris's late night radio show, a music video was created to accompany the song and for listeners to put a face to the song. P. Coakley as he's known by still performs this song til this day and has also created the new intro for Chris on Chicago's very own V103.

I swear I come here faithfully for years it’s like once I got in middle or high school I stopped hearing it on the radio. I was so young I’m about to be 28 soon and this is still my fav song. So many memories driving just hearing this as a kid I literally couldn’t wait till I came on. I’d want my mom to stay at my grannies longer since I knew the exact time they played it😭
