Your comment reminded me of how when I was in kindergarten or pre-first (for children who aren’t quite ready for first grade but are not needing to retake kindergarten, this is what it was called at my school in the early 90’s) there was a librarian at my school who read to the kids. She had an incredibly soft and soothing voice, and I remember listening to her read a story and trying not to fall asleep once. She was a sweet lady. The memory will stay with me for life.

Hope you’re able to stay cool(ish)! I cannot imagine not having air con where I live in this heat (I’m in south Texas). I have to sleep with my air at 68*F (20*C) at night so I would be boiling trying to sleep at 28*! 🥵 stay cool!

I loved this, reminded me of the first time I ever got tingles. Was from a teacher showing me how to do my work while tracing her finger along the words as she read and explained. This was nostalgic and comforting. I’ve been looking for a video like this for ages.

Wonderful video, Emma. I’m several hours late watching this, but man was it worth the wait. Everything sounded wonderful in this. I especially enjoyed the book tapping, page turning and gentle fabric rustling sounds, as well as the soft spoken reading in this, so thank you for including all of those. Lovely video as always. I took about a 3 month break from ASMR because I was immune. Came back and watched a few videos and still no tingles. However, when you camouflage I had a tingle go from my scalp down my spine to my calves!! Specific words have never really triggered me but the way you said that was like a lightning bolt. The rest of the video was perfection as it was so relaxing. This is why I originally got into ASMR.

Good evening, Emma!! And thank you for another fantastic relaxing and mesmerizing video!! Your voice is unbelievably hypnotic, the sounds of the pages turning and your hands gliding over their surfaces are absolutely fantastic!! I’d LOVE another Library Reading Session with the added background of a fireplace and gentle rain (tapping against windows and the roof, or possibly a mild thunderstorm). But you could truly read any book on any subject and it would be incredibly relaxing!! ☺️

This reminds me of when my mum would read to me before bed and I would be asleep in 5 mins! I’d try to stay awake to enjoy it but like with watching your videos I’d be asleep before I know it! ❤️

I love these kinds of videos where the hands(and what they are caressing, tapping etc.) are the main focal feature, along with Emma's sweet whispers....they bring me such"tingle" joy and relaxation.... lots of "goosebumps"!!!...going to be "wearing" this video out, watching it over and over and over again!!!...thank you for making another repeatable treasure!!...

I know this is not a new video but I’d love to see more like this! I love your reading videos, whispered/quiet reading is so relaxing and I love the informational book you chose. I also loved your video where you read different combos of essential oils to blend for certain moods. Maybe the next book could be about herbs found in Britain or recipes or something 🤩 anyway, so relaxing, much love ❤

💜 Hello my lovely sweet Emma 💜 I hope you’re doing well as always. This is going to be a lovely video, I love hearing you read or talk about anything. Your voice never fails to relax me. I’m just trying to stay cool today, it’s so unbearably hot outside. It’s going to be quite warm here for a while which I’m not to happy about but it’ll be good for my garden. A few days ago I noticed some bell peppers are starting to form in my garden and my tomato plants are doing well so far. Anyway, thank you so much for another lovely video Emma. Hi WhispersRed. You are by far my favorite ASMR artist. Can you do a video where you're stapling something? I used to work with a woman who naturally had an ASMR way about her. My favorite thing was when she would staple something. Everything she did was slow and gentle. But stapling was the best thing ever.
