I will be running a local campaign with White Box & The Broadland hex-crawl world. I roll up their four characters.

Man you should've shifted 2 points from Charisma and put a point in Dexterity for a 15. (Page 7)

“Everything is 1d6” (IRT weapon damage) That was actually the thing I disliked about Basic D&D - a dagger doing the same damage as a long sword - though Dwarves did 1d8 and elves did 1d10. ??😆 Having +/- modifiers helps but a 2 pt difference between a dagger and a 2-h sword? I must be too much of a realist 😉

Yeah. Old D&D is definitely not a simulation. All the damage is d6 as is all hit-point generation and there is a nice balance to it as a gamey thing. Lol! RQ is definitely more nuanced in regard to combat in general. AD&D was where the d20 formula tried to get more simulationist.

Hello! How do you handle some mechanics that are missing in FMAG, %in lair, number of monsters Appearing, hexcrawl procedures, castles rules? You play without them?

I can't speak for Roleplay Cafe, but personally I just homebrew/house-rule in simplified versions of whatever mechanics or creatures I feel I want in the campaign. White Box encourages you to modify it to your needs so do exactly that. :)
