Amazing! I've always related Ravenloft exclusively with Strahd. Never played an adventure in this setting. And Lovecraft is great!

Sounds like you have a great setup for your Lovecraftian - Ravenloft. Notebooks are a must and a great way to document the game as well. I keep one around as an "idea book" in addition to the one I use for the game. I really look forward to hearing about this campaign.

This sounds like a really fun time Rob! I didn't have long to wait for details on your Ravenloft game! I am going to get the print on demand books for Ravenloft at some point if I cannot find them at good prices on ebay or amazon.

Hmmm...my idea isn't quite Lovecraftian, but a powerful Illithid (homebrew for Basic Fantasy) was taken into Ravenloft and made a Dread Lord

I think Jekyll and Hyde would make a great Darklord. Jekyll gives the people Hope which is truly terrifying in a horror game. Is he in any of the published TSR materials for Ravenloft?

@@AdventuresWithDice i was inclined to launch myself in cthulhu world with the starter set, but now i saw your video and got excited with the best of 2 worlds, cthulhu and whitebox in the same book! Were do you get the physical book? Drivethru gets me charge for shipping... got amazon links?
