People always seem to have extremely positive reactions to me as a white guy speaking African languages, and I love connecting with people in this way, so I’ve been spending the last three months studying Yoruba and Igbo, both Nigerian languages, and in this video I visit a Nigerian neighborhood in New Jersey to test out my language skills.

Xiao never fails to put a smile on my face no matter how tough a day it is. This is what KZfaq and every social media platform, honestly, should be about. A blending of cultures, smiles and spreading good cheer, people of every nation learning from and just valuing every HUMAN and everything on this planet as a whole!! People forget that at the end of the day when our bones are dug up the ONLY thing that will be determined is what species we were. Xiao has made it a point to be able to communicate and spread positivity throughout all of gods brothers and sisters. Thank you Xiao for continuing to spread positivity in this day in age. ❤️

One of his suggested tips is to learn conversational phrases first. Hello. How are you? What is your name? How much does this cost? Where is the...whatever? etc. You would be surprised how quickly you can communicate with people if that is also combined with universal sign language and learning new words through interactions.

Something about the added phrygian mode with american psychedelic and traditional blues styles just makes sense to my weird brain.
