White Chocolate Brownies are a fun twist on the traditional chocolate brownie. They are rich, smooth and truly decadent!
Ingredients
1 cup white chocolate chips, divided
5 Tbsp butter, salted
1/2 cup plus 2 Tbsp granulated sugar
1 egg and 1 egg yolk
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
3/4 cup. plus 2 Tbsp all purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees F.
Line a 9 x 5 loaf pan with parchment paper or greased with non stick baking spray.
In a microwave safe bowl combine 1/2 cup of white chocolate chips and butter. Heat in 20 second increments until white chocolate melts. Watch carefully as white chocolate burns easily. Cool to room temperature.
In another bowl, combine sugar and eggs and mix until pale yellow.
Add in vanilla extract to egg mixture.
Pour a few tablespoons of egg mixture into chocolate mixture which is room temperature. Stir to combine and then add remaining chocolate mixture.
Add in flour and salt to mixture
Add in remaining white chocolate chips.
Pour into prepared pan and bae for 35-40 minutes until golden brown on top and a toothpick comes out fairly clean (will have some melted chips on it)
Cool and then cut. Enjoy!
