In films like these, the protagonist never neutralize the threat after disabling them. A simple about turn pumping 2 into each downed terrorists and the film end there.

If i was ever in a fight like this, not only would i make sure he was dead, i would take his weapons and ammo. I like the movies where he has to fight the guy ten times because he didn't kill him when he had him down the other 9 times.

1) Apache helicopter is being dispatched from Andrews guard base 2) Apache clears the roof from hostile 3) MH-6 helicopters carrying delta force operators land on the roof. This is how it would play out on a situation like this.

Wouldn't the white house bodyguards be like former soldiers or something? I mean I'm not an expert on security or military forces or anything but it seems as though recruiting some retired commandos or similar would be a good idea to guard the seat of power of a country? Just anyone who knows how to use a shooter and basic infantry tactics.

I still don’t get how the SSA lost the White House so quickly without killing a single attacker. In Olympus has Fallen the attackers lost quite a few before they took the building.

I haven't watched Olympus but it's revealed at the end that the attackers had an inside man who was quite high up the chain and knew everything about the security of the White House. With that intelligence, their training and some security measures possibly being disabled, it's doable for them.

This and Olympus has Fallen is a blatant rip off of the book by Vince Flynn Transfer of Power. One of his novels was made into the movie American Assassin with the character Mitch Rapp.
