I have known the potential earning power of trees and I have planted 40,000 mahogany, gmelina, Ilang-ilang, jackfruits, lanzones, rambutan, mangoes and other timber trees in Napak-an, Bayawan Negros Oriental. The Philippines Native and Sakura Park Devewlopment is a great and noble project. I know it will be a success.

I love this episode! He doesn’t talk about himself. It’s all about plants and its potential. Mahalata mo talaga na mahal niya and mga halaman niya at ang mga potential nito sa ekonomiya ng ating bansa. It’s straight to the point and no beating around the bush.

Sa DENR walang update sa mga ganyang klasing kahoy na itanim sa mga bakanting Lupa sa buong Pilipinas...nag.antay lang ng 15 at katapusan ng buwan sumahod nah...pero kung may mga pulitiko na nag.cutting tress malapad ang kamay sa undertable process...sad to say but its real..

Sir Buddy i agree with the hard wood kc everyday yan ginagamit dito s Kuwait, here in Arab countries tawag nila Bokhor. Ung magpabaga sila ng paham tawag don like parang uling b after magbaga ilagay nila ung ganyan Hardwood they called it Bokhor. Here in Arab countries they knows that 100%. Very interesting topic sir maganda po ito para makapagmotivate ng ating mga kababayan na magtanim ng native trees at fruit bearing trees lalo na sa mga lupain na nakalbo na dahil sa illegal logging. Ang galing, ang laki ng potential ng philippines. Ngayon ko naintindihan bakit iniwan ng father ko ang Manila at pumunta sa province, nuon pa lang nakita na niya ang potential mag palaki ng mga puno. Thanks for this information, I'm proud to our country Philippines, sana yung government natin ayusin mga forestry natin. It’s the dried resin of agar wood that’s fragrant and expensive by the kilo. It requires drilling small holes in the trunk para tumulo ang dagta at matuyo. Harvesting they requires chopping down the tree. Maraming youtube videos tungkol sa agar wood. Very good to learn that the Philippines has a native agar species.

Ang ganda ng topic nyo sir. Mahilig din po ako sa pagtatanim ng punong kahoy. May mga mistakes ako in the past tungkol sa pagtatanim. Sharing talaga ang da best lalo na sa mga mistakes. Ang mahirap ay paglipas ng mga ilang taon ay saka mo lang malalaman ang mali sa tamang pagtatanim. Wag malalim ang pagtatanim. Ugali ng malusog na puno ay gumapang ang kanyang ugat sa ibabaw ng lupa. Mas malusog pag di malalim ang tanim at mas matibay sa malakas na hangin. Deuteronomy 28, Exodus 20, John 3:16

Mas maganda talaga ang flowering trees ng pinas, malaki ang potential for tourism. Sana mapropagate sa mga parks natin. Nakakainggit ang ibang bansa sobrang ganda ng mga park nila lalo na ang cherry blossoms ng korea at japan kahit 1 month or less lang magbloom, samantalang mga flowering trees natin mas mahaba pala ang blooming season. Sana lahat ng main roads natin taniman ng hilehilerang flowering trees kagaya dito sa korea ang ganda tingnan pag nagbloom.

I am from Quezon Prov. Long time I've heard about Agar2/Lapnisan. I grow up in a high land farm my query is it possible to propagate "Lapnisan" mixed with coconut tree? Lot's of timber tree available in my ancestral farmland (i.e. Gemilina, Palcata, Mahogany, Agoho, Narra, Acacia, Arangan, Dau, Kalantas, and many more hard/softwoods). It's good to know meron pala" Grupo " nag cater ng mga timber tree! Which I plan long time ago, but I could not known where to start with? Perhaps with this Info. It may help me, thanks for this... Agar wood is a resinous heartwood that is produce when the tree is injured. The agarwood is actually produce when tree trunk is wounded, a white tylosis appear as defence mechanism of tree from infection, this white substance will turn into light dark color and on the latter part of tree life this substance will turn into dark color, this substance is called oleorisen and finally turned to more darker color technically termed agarwood

Napakalawak ng kaalaman ni Dr Cercado pagdating sa mga puno at mga halaman kaya napahanga talaga ako. Isa siyang ehemplo na dapat tularan sa ating panahon lalo ng mga kabataan ngayon para mabago ang kalagayan ng ating mundo sa kinakaharap nating problema sa global warming kaya tayo may climate change na nararanasan. Malaki ang koneksiyon ng climate change sa nararanasan nating kakaibang lakas ng mga bagyo at sa nararanasan nating sobrang init lalo kapag dumarating ang tag-araw. Baka dumating ang panahon na mapabilis ang pagkamatay ng mga tao, mga hayop at mga halaman dahil sa sobrang init ng panahon. Pansinin ninyo ang balita ng mga fish kill kapag mainit ang panahon tapos biglang umulan, mabilis mamatay ang mga isda dahil sa sudden change of temperature. Dapat dumami ang mga taong katuladni Dr Ephrain Cercado para mabago din ang lumalalang kalagayan ng ating mundo sa kasalukuyang panahon. My husband had started tree planting 2 years ago and still on going with his projects in the farm and it seems it's never ending. He already have 1,200 narra and mahogany trees and it's well taken cared of. We both enjoyed listening and watching this very informative segment and I admire people like Dr. Em. Right now we are on the process of road construction and want to ask you where we can buy cheaper seedlings of Balai Lamok so we plan planting those along sides and we are often for suggestions. Also we want to learn the propagation technique of this plant. Thanks a lot and we are with you to protect and help with our environment. Our location is in Pililla, Rizal.

Another informative video, I totally agree with the advocacy of Dr. Cercado to plant native trees. If you're holding back on information, how can we spread and encourage people to plant native trees. Is there like a website or references where we can gain knowledge. Unlike the Permaculture Concept it is an open book that they are sharing the basic concept for you to be successful. I hope that we can adopt that practice so humanity and eco-system will flourish. Thank you and hoping more videos to watch like this.

It’s good to know of somebody who loves trees so much….I’m so encouraged…I love trees…unfortunately, I don’t have the time and encouragement from…I once planted a few trees in my grandparents land…unfortunately I wasn’t there to take care so I had like a very few left nlng…I’m hoping if I retire I can go back to it…

May the Lord continue to hear your prayers and even lavishly bless you more than you ever asked for and take care of you and all yours under the shadow of God's protection, grace and mercy. We hope you could visit us someday and help us develop this farm into a sustainable Prayer Mountain/Resort/Park plus our other farm that is un utilized and my uncle's farm, too that he wants to be disposed is ideal for Agarwood and Sakura Park but it has so many Buho Bamboo and some unidentified trees, too

Doc Em, our farm we have been trying to develop into a sustainable Prayer Mountain here at Masinloc, Zambales. We heard much about Agarwood before, but, upon watching this, (Thank you, Sir Buddy) with my son and daughter , we wish to plant on a one hectare ng Agarwood and maybe a half hec for the BaliLamok. We will have to sell a portion to have the capital needed to buy from you. We hope you could accommodate us. May God hear our prayers.

May farm po ang father ko na nsa 24 hectares un at ung 12.5 binenta ng nag babantay doon na kamag anak ng mama ko ng namatay both my parents. At sobrang mura ng pagka benta 250k lng ang 12.5 hctrs. Ang naiwan is 11.5 na puno ng red and white lawaan na d na mayakap ng 2 - 3 ka tao pro pinbayaan na namin ang lupa na un kc d rin namin mataniman ng ibang produkto kc bawal putulin ang mga puno doon kya inwan nlng namin at hinayaan nlng.

True lack of information makes the public unfamiliar of our own growing timber and fruit bearing trees. If private individuals can do informative programs to the public why does DENR cannot when in fact it has so much resources and funding...wake-up ...and share to the public much needed information on how trees can be planted and the good seedlings of trees.

Sa Cams.Sur may maintained kmi ng secondary forest na gusto kong punuin ng native tree species kasi ang mga tao ko binenta na ang mga kahoy gubat na ginawang round posts ng mga bahay kubo ng karatig- barangay ng lupa namin.
