I took an African dance class in high school. It was a drop in class thru our community center & it was always packed, there’d be anywhere from 30-60 ppl in a huge room w/live drumming. The energy was electric, it was the most amazing, empowering, fun dance class I’ve ever taken. One Love ❤

Right!!! It gives me tears of hope and happiness. It's so easy to be nice to one another and incredibly rewarding. I have in person friends from all over the world and I love learning about everyones culture. It's fascinating and made me realize how great of a country we live in (although times aren't so great). We taught each other a lot of things. Funny though, the men from all over the world would laugh at me and shut me down when I'd ask to teach their wives how a successful, independent American girl rolls...LOL. We will always laugh about that.

I took African dance in New York many years ago with Welcome Mesomi and his sweet wife Tuli, A. Tulie ended up on Broadway in NYC. Her husband is probably still with the Zulu dance Troop they founded. Truly loving awesome people. Great African dance. Thank You.
