The white noise of a fan heater can be a very relaxing and sleep inducing listening experience. I recorded this sound using my binaural microphone rig positioned in front of the mini heater. I compiled the audio and video using Final Cut Pro X. Fan heater white noise and other similar house sounds are great for masking unwanted external sounds, which makes them the perfect ally for study, sleep, stress relief and meditation.
Our combination of white noise, binaural beats and relaxing music is the fastest method of getting better sleep, more focused concentration and deeper relaxation. I've been smoking weed every night for the last 12 years in order to fall asleep. I was aware of the soothing effect hairdryer had on me but it's only since I found these videos that I ve realised how big an impact this white noise thing could have on my life. I came off weed which translates into more money and a more agile mind, you guys saved me!

Am I the only one that listens to this to focus? Like everyone says that it makes them fall asleep, while for me it works by blocking out outside noise and allows to concentrate. Have to say, without this I would probably not even be able to study at all! Thanks for the video!

Aaah this makes me feel nostalgic, it was winter, the snow was falling down as i watched it from my room.Meanwhile i was sitting on the floor watching cartoon network shows and was waiting for christmas. The noise, the heat, the tv with the shows on and the ambient blue light which came in from outside made everything peaceful. Oh how sometimes i just wanna be kid again.

Oh cartoon network days... :') I have something similar except our family had a fireplace that we lit. Although it wasn't in Christmas since Christmas in Australia is Summer and really hot haha! But I hear you. The childhood days were nice. it's cool when certain sounds or smells bring back fond memories. It helps you relax. 😃

: I am currently sitting next to a real heater in a study room and searching for a similar sound on youtube for when I wanna study back in my room. I have to say.. THIS IS THE ONLY SIMILAR SOUND. I AM SERIOUS. I clicked on several, believe me guys. It is a bit bassy, the others are waay too similar to white noise, which I do not get BECAUSE heaters do NOT sound like how white noise sounds like. However.. This is a really good example of how heaters SHOULD sound. Well done indeed. I'm very pleased by this video.

As a force multiplier, you can load up a second video at the same time that is in a lower registry. One thing that works well is airplane engine white noise. These videos have really helped keep the peace in my office.

Good video, like the sound, currently using it to block out my nieces watching annoying TV while I'm studying, working great! However, the most major thing I learned from this video is that KZfaq has a loop function built in now. When I find a song I like I'll listen to it a dozen times in a row, and I've always wished I could make them auto repeat.

I have one of these for my bed and I always near drift off with it on but it would be a fire hazard and costly to do so but the sound makes me sleepy and floaty. The feeling of falling asleep is beautiful! Thanks for this video !

The main reason is it being a really close sound to what we hear in our mother's womb. That's why newborn babies find comfort in hairdryer sound.:) I find it amazing too. My baby sister would not go to sleep unless she heard the hairdryer when she was a newborn.

white noise works to help me sleep, great video! We had an old oil furnace in my basement, when I was a kid I used to love coming in from the cold and cuddle up on the couch, that sound combined with the heat used to make me sleep like a baby!
