Light is what makes any photo............... Your techniques take lighting to another level. I try to paint with light............... Unfortunately the advent of smartphones has destroyed photography as a skill. Most of the population waive their latest I phone and are satisfied with glueing there eyes to the smartphone screen.................. when shown an image which has clearly had effort, experience and skill they have no concept of how they can evaluate the professionalism applied to make such an outstanding photograph as your images clearly are.................. Sad but that is the world we live in........

Thank you for your interest in my videos, I started my photography many years ago with super8 (remember the excitement of waiting for the return of that yellow Kodachrome envelope through the post...!) It is all very different now in todays instant world. A good image is still capable of being admired if you have the time to look.

Simply astonishing! The key light from the side was something i hadn't thought of. I'll add this to the list of exercises for the weekend.

Very good work, thanks for sharing. One question, I'm not a native English speaker but I know enough to understand it, I noticed you use the metric system instead of the imperial system, so I'm wondering if you're from the UK. I can't identify the accents yet and I couldn't tell if it's from the USA or England or Australia, thank you for your incredible videos, greetings from Mexico

Yes, I am based in the UK. I believe it is important to use the correct units wherever possible. That is why I use the metric or SI system. Thanks for watching.

Wish you would have stuck to Ful Frame rather than these exotic sensors and / focal length

The medium format is more generic and easier to teach with. I will be using medium format for the foreseeable future. The important thing is the technique not the equipment. thanks for watching.
