The white ranger helmet is to scale of the ones on the show and more accurate. The bigger Bandai ones are made bigger to fit a wider variety of heads. Screen accuracy was what Hasbro was shooting for, wearability was what Bandai was going for.

The Bandai helmets where oversized, Hasbro’s scale is supposed to be 1:1 with the props for the show

The White Ranger helmet by Hasbro is modeled to be close to the size of the screen used helmets, remember all the suits were primarily used by Japanese actors. The old red and green helmet by Bandai were oversized to fit more of an American head, making them less accurate along with missing some details like around the teeth. I personally would prefer them to be as screen accurate as possible, they were never as big on the show as the the red or green helmet are.

Disney Power Rangers are not that bad IMO. Ninja Storm, Dino Thunder, Mystic Force and SPD

The White helmet is scanned from the actual helmet, so it's the same size as a screen cast. The Green helmet is completely wrong in shape, design, and is comically oversized. If the White doesn't fit you, you wouldn't fit into a real $400 helmet either without alterations. May just have a big head.

omg, I used to watch you for sneaker reviews.... now I come back to you doing a review on a ranger helmet. Full circle lol

The helmet is actually adult sized as unlike the bandai ones, its molded from the screen used helmet. The problem is they eliminated the bottom wear the chin usually sits, and also the screen used ones are not for smaller heads as stunt people tend to have smaller heads. The size difference to the bandai ones takes some getting use to, since you have the other ones, but that is likely going to be the size they use going forward since hasbro usually molds from screen used props, like they do for the black series helmets. There should be some additional adjustments inside to help with the fit. Awesome review though.

My personal favorite from marvel and my personal favorite from power rangers are 1 Deadpool 2 MMPR white ranger

I was super into the first one as a kid, the movie with Ivan Ooze was my introduction to them. I watched them end to end around the lost galaxy era and space. When I found out that turbo was a thing I lost my mind cause I was into hot wheels and I wished they had more vehicles back then. I'm so glad nerd is back with a new name. Mostly into the stuff from nostalgic reasons, cause I tried catching an episode now and it wasn't it.

So Super Geek moment right here! If you're wondering about why the gold color is not like the original TV show from the nineties. I think it's because Hasbro used the "Fighting Spirit" version (Power Rangers Dino Thunder) to make this helmet, the gold is similar and so the shape of the helmet overrall, which is a great improvement from the Bandai ones...

We def need more of this

I prefer Hasbro's White Ranger helmet. The Legacy Green Ranger helmet made me look like a bobblehead so I returned it and bought a 1:1 scale Green Ranger fiberglass helmet instead, which is 10% smaller than the Hasbro's helmet.

I think you had to loosen the straps to fit better.

The arcade is sweet, the ending was awesome. Too bad the new helmet is constructed differently. I also collect the figures. The Bandai Legacy figures are scaled a bit bigger and designed with overly muscular physiques. The Hasbro figures are much more in line stylistically with how the Rangers look. Hasbro also have done a few of the villains. I have Goldar and Lord Zedd
