I remember when I was about 7-8, I got my sister's old ipod nano, which was full of Zeppelin, Wolfmother, Deep Purple, White Stripes etc. I fell in love with it all, and this song in particular I thought was the coolest, most hardcore thing ever. Now I'm a metalhead and I've listened to some truly extreme music, but this is still awesome!

I haven't heard this song since I was 14 and looking back on it now, much like The White Stripes themselves, it has a lot more merit than anyone tends to give it credit for just because it became so popular. When I'm 40 this will be classic rock, and I'm cool with that. Jack White is a name that deserves the longevity that it's destined for.
