Whitehaven neighbors worried over drag racing

Whitehaven residents are far too familiar with the sights and sounds of drag racing and street takeovers, which are now a felony in Tennessee.

The new drag race law will help.. it's a lot of people that are breaking law's don't keep up with the laws set into law until they get caught

You can have all the laws you want,but as long as you keep electing judges that don’t or won’t enforce them the new laws mean nothing 🧑‍⚖️🤔

Why wouldn't the police department have police already in the area or frequently stake out of the area especially if it has been frequently reported. Sadly we can't count on MPD to do their job.

They don't care lets be real..people has already called so let's just live in reality....it toke MPD over 3 hours to respond to a break in for me..trust me and the police department literally is within 1 mile...corruption at its best..money has taken over

Hell, they don't have but 18 hundred officer they just can't sit in one spot all day to just protect that one area. Call on they parents that who need to be watching them. It's so much they can do when some thing they can't control bcz they defund them. If it wasn't for that they would be glad to take control of the streets. Popem down every chance they get.

The reason these wannabe thugs are so bold is the cops don't do anything about it. I've seen them just sitting right there and do nothing.

Hell, I wouldn't do anything either. What can they do they scared? These thugs got these d*m extended clips compared to what the police got. They want to go home to they family. These idiots don't care about life, and they are constantly doing the shit bcz they can get away with it. Look at the poor man who got shot at 30 times bcz they were breaking in his business. He can't go home and sleep in his bed, he was sleeping in his store to protect it. After while it's gone be a dry desert everybody go die of starvation. Stealing all the groceries then people blame it on the businesses of high prices. It's the thugs out there.

I wonder when you all get some sense that doing doughnuts in the road is NOT drag racing. Drag racing is when two cars go down a strip of a quarter mile to see who wins.
