One of my Niseko theories: • Snowfall normally ends up more than forecasted or what is measured. As when it dumps it really dumps. I hope you guys get a few consecutive days of dumping. FYI: wanting some boards to demo? Hit up Rhythm Snowsports in Hirafu (can't miss it)

Would the Oakley PRIZM HI Pink goggles be a good choice for days like these? Thinking about getting some. Lots of days like his in the PNW. Sick video btw. Can’t wait for my japan trip

It would be, that's what their advertised to do. I bought some flight decks and the hi pink separately but haven't had a chance to try em yet. I went all out for mine, and got some prescription lenses as well. last season I had some cheapo bolle goggles that were so garbage for my last season's pow days, and ruined what should of been the best day of the season. From what they advertise it isn't about letting more light in, but more of turning up the contrast on specific light waveforms, to make it easier to see contours etc. I can't wait to try mine.

Clluthu I’m hoping to get some this weekend. Last powder day sucked because I couldn’t see crap in the snow. It all looked solid and I couldn’t see any details. It actually made me feel a bit dizzy. I was going to get the hi pinks instead of the rose because I wanted to do some night skiing also and clear lens don’t bring out contrast or details.

Paul Dalziel I already have a pair of dragon goggles for sunny days. But they are too dark for night skiing and when it’s snowing hard or foggy, I can’t see crap lol

Hey TJ, loving the vids! I was wondering, are a lot of those tree runs off-piste? Also do they do avalanche control like they did at Whistler?

The tree runs are mainly off piste, through to the unpatrolled gates. From memory there 12 gates total around the various resorts (side country) and yes avie control is conducted in side country I believe

I have been looking at getting a new board and I have been looking at the arbor westmark and burton deep thinker. I live in PA the snow is slushee, icy, or groomed. I ride all mountain. What board do you recommend or are there any other boards that you recommend.

I see you guys wearing the oversized goggles.. are those the new style now and do they aide in visibility? I’ve got an old pair of Oakley’s, was thinking of upgrading.
