The BLUES Album is available digitally, on CD, and as a 2-LP set pressed on 180-gram, blue vinyl.

Already got the Rock album and the Love album. I will definitely get the Blue album as well. Whitesnake is and has been a very special band for me for over thirty five years. I was 7 years old when I first listened to the Slide It In album back in 1985 , and have loved the band ever since.

Also , too bad that David doesn't have the rights to do any songs from the albums Saints And Sinners and everything that came out before it. That is the reason why he only has songs from the Slide It In album , and every album that came out after. Too bad, because there are so many older songs from the old albums that would have been perfect for this Trilogy release series.

You are right, he does not own rights to recordings before 1984. But why o why do a blues album without the blues songs then? Where are Hungry for love or Sailing Ships? Where are Standing in the shadow or Sail Away? Many of the songs on this album are not even the slightest blues songs. New mix of Give me all your love? Why not try a brand new unreleased song instead? There are quite many, especially from the solo albums. This album could have been great, but is mediocer.

@@naturallawman2965 I didn't know he didn't own the rights to his pre-1984 albums. That's awful. But on the other hand, I love the fact that he's giving more attention to _Restless Heart._ It's my favorite Whitesnake album and honestly it's his best work.

I've ordered this on vinyl. Looking forward to hearing the remixes and although I own the albums these songs are from on CD already, I'm interested in trying a new slant. Great to see these songs are still being played, albeit repackaged. I saw the current Whitesnake line-up at Download 2019. They made Def Leppard's headline slot look lacklustre. David has still got it.
