Deer creek seed is a good source for non roundup ready beans shipped. Otherwise I would check a local co-op.

Funny you say that, are you not from WI? Albino are protected in WI, I see them all the time by the cabin in Northern WI and at my uncles place in middle WI...they seem to be getting more and more abundant in WI.

Typically it isn't worth it all unless trying to build a deer herd. It doesn't help the deer herd unless you are in the arid southwest and you have to spend a lot of resources to do so. The vast majority of the time it does more harm than good to both you and the local deer herd.

Hi Kristoff! It's easy to get conflicting info because most online deliver practices they heard from someone else, and then confuse the message because they lack the practical experience to properly deliver the message in the first place. When it comes to seeding into oats or anything else, it boils down to how much debris is in the field...thatch, height of oats, wheat, etc. In the spring if the grain is short (under 10-12") you can seed into it easily, as the seed will all get to the soil. Then, there isn't enough grain debris or shading to prohibit germination and growth. BUT, you just have to spray Glyphosate on the weeds to kill it. You can do this with even tiny seeds like clover, birdsfoot trefoil, chicory, etc. with taller grain like 18"-2', you can seed big seeds into like beans, and then spray and kill. You can even mow it down over the seeds if your mower doesn't clump. If it's later in the summer and the grain is 3-4' tall with a viable seed head...you are in trouble. The best thing to do there is till, wait for germination of the grain seed head for 2-4weeks, then kill and plant. You have to get seed on soil and sun to the germinating seed after rain. Many different ways to skin a cat 😊 Keep in mind too, some may tell you that you have to crimp, because they may be partnered with a company that sells expensive crimpers. Let the buyer beware when it comes to online deer habitat and hunting advice... I hope that helps!

Deer will destroy it!!! Happened to me last year. Deer ate it to the dirt in about 2 weeks . You will be using the winter rye to fill in the open fields.

Hey josh Paul here I also have land in upstate New York although you can be off a week or so regarding plantings in listening too Jeff probably safe too try and plant when he advises just saying I’ll be up there 1st week in August seeding my fall foodplot into the standing buckwheat then rolling over it also don’t neglect too spray glyphs if needed following day will add calcium/ plus fertilizer too soil started using liquids instead of granular been working for me if you live there you have an advantage by watching and trying too keep the deer off your plot so they don’t eat everything down too the dirt

Yes. It is an annual plant. At some point you will cut off the lone growing point of the plant and it will die.

@@trentvesbach4476 I had to cut my crp the first year after I sprayed because it didn't work great because I didn't have good seed to soil contact. And I I also had to rake it afterwards then burnt the piles before a rain. But following years I've followed his methods and it has saved so much time. That's probably the most impressive thing about Ultimate no Till is, man it's a time saver. And it works great.

Unfortunately the rye will smother out the brassicas because it doesn't break down fast enough...

It means you can spray the plant from that seed with Glyphosate and it won't kill the plant.

The amount of chemical sprayed food plots deer forage on makes up a small precent of what the deer actually consuming . If you're worried about deer eating chemical sprayed crops better not hunt anywhere near AG lands
