It was definitely a challenge to get ready for the first competition of the season, but I had a great time in Knoxville and even managed to win on balance beam. You look so tall standing against your teammates! As a tall gymnast myself, I think it is amazing what you can do as tall as you are! You are going to shine in NCAA! Way to go Whitney!

Congrats Whitney! You did do very well considering your difficult preparation. I know you'll never be completely happy because you're a perfectionist. As you say though it's the first meet and I know you will improve. I'm very proud of you Whit and it's so fantastic to see you competing again. 😉😉💙💙

Congratulations on getting into Alabama gymnastics team for NCAA I can't wait to see you complete I watch college gymnastics so I be waiting to see you with the team completing in it my favorite team is the gators so now I have two teams to watch I watch your videos since you been in level 7 your a great person who loves animals, family, gymnastics, and friends, also your a great singer do not give up on your dreams yes if you fail get back up "stand up move forward that's is from a show I watch once again Congratulations Whitney you earn it 😀

I love that, unless you're a gymnast, you just don't notice her graceful mistakes LOL She's so incredible and inspiring to those of us gymnasts who were always told that gymnastics was easier the shorter you are. Keep it going girlie!!!!

It’s amazing to see someone almost as tall as me doing gymnastics so well! Those flips must be so much harder !!

WHITNEY WE ARE ALL SO PROUD OF YOU! Keep working towards perfect gymnastics, and you might get a perfect 10 before you get to collage! Nail that beam dismount, have super stretched fingers, arrow straight legs, extended pointed feet, pushed back shoulders, chin up and you got this!!!!

Congratulations Whitney!! Going 27+ on 3 events for the first meet of the season, less than 2 months after having surgery, is absolutely amazing and a testament to how great of a gymnast you are. Alabama will be so lucky to have you, but in the meantime, I imagine you'll only get better with more training time under your belt as you get further into season. Love this video and #RollTide!!

Hang in there, and be patient with yourself ❤️ I quit gymnastics after an injury, and that's my biggest regret in life! I didn't give myself the time and patience that I needed. I was frustrated bc It wasn't getting my skills, strengths, and difficulty back within the (very short and unrealistic) timeline that I had planned for myself. And it ended up leading to a lot of anxiety (I was having panic attacks almost every practice) and depression Good luck and I hope you have a speedy recovery!!

This used to be a local meet for my daughter when she competed. Actually recognized her former coaches, teammate in the background as well as judges I know! Congratulations on your first competition of the season.
