She sang with more PASSION and heart during these times than EVER... Its like she sang from a DEEPER place. Those who are spiritual and who have ever EXPERIENCED or whove ever REALLY been THROUGH ANYTHING know what I mean. Some people... All they listen for in a singer is perfection in tone quality, timbre etc. However... HEART converys more than pretty notes EVER will. Such things can not be written into a score. Only the human emotion, spirit and God can convey. Truth? Such is TRULY the essence music in the first place. I'm much more impressed by what I FEEL from a singer/musician than what I HEAR. If I can't feel it??? Then KEEP IT.

“I am lost without a cause/ after giving it my all” It still kills me to hear her sing that. She truly gave absolutely everything she had for MANY years and was left with largely nothing in the end. Oh, Whitney. But she STILL had that spirit and they couldn’t take THAT from her.
@vin20109 жыл бұрын
She don't need to lip in her late career. Truly respect her. she sounded AMAZING in this performance. She still carry the immense musicianship she had back in her primedays, those runs/melisma, ability to emote a song like no any other still with her thoroughly! #TheVoice

@kevinmcfadden19918 жыл бұрын
slaternsd Whitney's head voice was like that of an opera singer. Not many pop inspired singers carry that trait. Whitney could've sang opera if she had liked. We call that operatic. Her head voice was as powerfuly as her chest voice which is rarely found in any voice. She was unique hence why she was loved so much.

Whitney was so much more than high notes. She's given us a night skies filled with stars of high notes and amazing runs that after years of listening I can only begin to grasp. It all came from her heart. She had me...forever. High notes or not. She had addiction issues-that damaged her but still lifted us with her songs. And her love and faith in God was ever present. How many songs did she record where she stuck an "oh Lord." Her lesson to us is not her struggles but in the beauty she gave us.
