Ohhh yes, I'm 20y. And I'm really impacted. She really preached. Maybe she didn't even know, and many don't understand .... But God has his mysterious ways.

AWESOME!!! Whitney Houston was a very POWERFUL; and a very ANOINTED WOMAN OF GOD! Say what you want about her; but she was chosen by GOD to spread His message of LOVE; and that is what she did. Even through her Struggles; she wasn't ashame of the GOSPEL OF JESUS. HER HEART WAS RIGHT WITH THE LORD; AND SHE ACCEPTED JESUS AS HER PERSONAL SAVIOUR...That is all that matters in the end. It's not what you've done; but how you STAND with GOD in the END. RIP ANOINTED WOMAN OF GOD!!!

The last two minutes between 5:37- 7:50 are just divine. I mean Whitney is ministering the crowd. My God. We’ve never heard that power before except Mahalia Jackson. It’s beyond the words. What a gift she was anointed ! Period !

Let's Talk Now slayed the performance of the voice of America ?! Are you stupid or ... stupid ! Listen to me : Whitney was truly blessed and this performance - especially the last three minutes - was a masterpiece !!! There’s a difference between this voice anointed - probably one of the greatest with Mahalia Jackson/ Ella Fitzgerald / Aretha Franklin and Barbra Streisand / Nancy Wilson / Billie Holiday / Dinah Washington / Sarah Vaughan - and the others ...

Yeah I actually read that in Cissy Book. In cissy book I believe she said that it was 3 shows but the first show wasn't recorded and it went really well.

she couldnt hit notes in DC because it was a 2part concert for camera testing. youtube dc oct. 3rd and see difference in her voice the day before actual live event..

maybe you're right, but i think this performance is better just because of the beautiful sopano notes and she sings longer, but Verona is out of this world! have you notice the girl who couldn't believe her ears, she tought she was in another world, the girl is the audience sreamed like a crazy.

Her voice improved dramatically from 1997-1999. 1999 she was hitting all types of insane notes. 1997 I was concerned because she couldn't hit notes. Example DC show.

I think she was adjusting to her new voice cause I agree although the talent and soul was always there she seemed a lot more comfortable with her voice in 1999
