I believe she sang it a micro step lower which is in between Ab and A. Micro step - .25 Half step - .50 Yeah she definitely sang this a micro step below the original.

She must have been in good shape here cause in the Washington DC concert she was struggling the whole two hours. this is one of her best performances of this in mu opinion.

those lil inflections during the sax are my favourite whitney moments...you can tell shes feeling the song that can become very boring for her at times

Somehow weird. Here she sounds fantastic. In Washington DC concert she had problems with her singing. I think this was the last year when she had her original voice. I cannot hear her original voice in any of her 1998 performances.

1995 was really this last year that she sounded like herself but this performance showed that she could still sing like she did during the bodyguard years. She must of had a full nights rest and cut out the cigarettes.

In 1998, she sounded like she had a very congested head voice. In Aschaffenburg, she did sound much better. But she also just made an album that year.

She sounded very good on the rehearsal for her DC concerts. During the concert she was ill. But when you compare this to 1995 and 1996 it is kind of weird she returned to Bodyguard vocals in 1997 indeed.

I agree she sounds better here then some of the bodyguard concerts which is rare since in 1997 she was having vocal issues. Amazing performance!

If you think about it, maybe the reason why whitney did the Classic Whitney concert in 1997 was because her prime voice was coming back

Mark Milan Macanas it’s actually a micro step below it. That’s why it sounds a lot like the original key and Ab key because it’s in between those.
