It’s crazy that Whitney was only 35 here. The same age I am now. She’s always seemed like and old soul. People in the fast lane age quicker. People in the slow lane have longevity. Burnt out too young 😭

Let’s be honest we’re all here for Whitney but I gotta give a shoutout to Dave. He has a way of making anyone feel human and welcome and I loved seeing the two of them match wits. You can tell Whitney genuinely enjoyed this interview.

Wow..she didnt even make it to 2012....I feel kind of sad looking at her here because you can tell that she was still whitney but she was changing..she was so jumpy.. like she was a little high... if only she would have gotten rid of all the negativity out her life and just went gospel singing R&B every once in a while...

She was always a wonderful soul.Whitney was a gem a diva a beauty she had charism class and had a voice like an angel. Good gave her that voice in the womb. What a lovely lovely woman. Who can sing with no music no back up just her and that mesmerizing captivating voice. There will never ever be another like her the mold was truly broken when she was born. RIP Whitney.

I've seen her visibly high in many interviews, but I don't think she was in this one. She seemed pretty lucid. Keep in mind, Dave kept the studios freezing cold, like 55 degrees.

They were competitors! Also in the beginning, he asked her why didn’t she show up for his show for a prior scheduling.. so at the end she goes “don’t worry I didn’t do jay leno show either”
