Such a mature thinking crowd. They encouraged a very tired and exhausted Whitney, obviously struggling to sing and feeling terrible about it. They never forgot what this woman gave us since her beginning. Respect to Whitney and to this amazing amazing crowd.

It's really sad to see her in this video...but knowing that she couldn't hit those notes anymore she still gave it her best shot. She was real with her fans. No matter what she will always be one of the greatest singers of all time. Only she knows the demons she was fighting in this life but I hope she is in peace now.

Yes drugs did deteriorate her voice through time, but let’s face it, Whitney even on her worst performance, given the circumstances, still did amazingly good and gave her all. I think she gave the performance her best with what she she had left in her at this time. It surely doesn’t sound like “THE VOICE Whitney” that we know and love and she knew she wasn’t going to sound like she used to. So instead of over singing and failing at her attempts, she gave a subtle rendition of the song and played it safe and I give her credit for having no playback and she knew what range she was working with vocally. I still heard that iconic voice somewhere inside, she sounded better than most artists today using autotune. RIP Whitney Houston. We will always love you 💕💖

I love you Whitney ❤❤❤

It’s so strange watching this, it gave me a real weird feeling. It was like she knew it was the end, she was dying on the inside & slowly it was beginning to show on the outside. Heartbreaking watch but the fans kindness & true love for her was something special. It would have killed her to perform so poorly despite her effects but I’m sure the crowd eased her self condemnation. That coat she had on was stunning she was classy & dressed like a lady to the very end.

Seems like your projecting, I dont get that vibe from this video at all. And there's a very real possibility that she was a victim of foul play. The only person around her at the time was later found atleast partially responsible in court for the death of her daughter a few years later under extremely similar circumstances.

She certainly gave up trying to get out of that darkness, and that’s the saddest thing. Only a year or two prior to this she still sounded amazing. At this point her addictions had completely taken over and nobody could stop it. It’s incredibly tragic.

Whitney had been raised by neglectful parents who only wanted fame and money through her daughter’s talents and hard works but never really nurtured her and give her unconditionally love (that is, it is OK for her to not perform well and not earn money to suit their insatiable selfish needs). That is why Whitney chose to show her vulnerable side to your fans and people who loved her that it is OK to be weak and vulnerable, because she surely was suffering. She wanted us to see this real her. 🙏🙏🙏 I hope to get to see her in Heaven.
