They discuss her new special "Whitney Houston: This Is My Life" premeiring on television the next day, her new movie "The Bodyguard" coming out in the fall, her engagement to Bobby Brown, and how it feels to live in her new home.

this is probably my most favorite interview that i have watched. she seemed so real, so much of herself in this & i love that so much. people can say whatever they want about whitney but i truly & honestly believe in my heart that she was one of the best & her personal battles should not outshine what she gave in her career. i will always love this woman, always.

Her personality BEFORE THE BODYGUARD was so much more Open and Inviting and Warm….you can tell she was just Enjoying her life and her career…..she genuinely seems SO HAPPY in this Era…….her life AFTER The Bodyguard seemed like she became Defensive and very Agitated with the World……that movie and that soundtrack was SO HUGE…….it catapulted Her into ICON STATUS…..and it seemed everyone everywhere wanted a piece of her…..The Media stayed in her Business…..I wonder if she ever regretted her career???……..The Pressure she had to endure once she became this MEGA STAR had to become to much !!…..before The Bodyguard her career was successful but not to successful where it was overwhelming…….I wonder if she hated her Legendary Career once she seen how cruel the world was?

Honestly I don't blame Bobby or Whitney. They both clearly had trauma in their childhood, and most people I know who have issues with drugs did also. Bobby saw a friend killed at a young age I believe and Whitney may have been sexually molested. A lot of people in Hollywood were molested at a young age which is why you see so many dealing with drugs and depression. Not saying it is an excuse but it's their way of coping. You add two broken people and I'm not surprised their marriage was toxic. One needed to be sober and be the rock for the other but sadly that wasn't the case. In order to address addiction you need to face the pain and that can be very confronting and so it's easier to numb the pain. Being rich and famous makes it worse because drugs are in your face 24/7.

her therapist has actually said that Bobby tried his best to keep her on drugs. not to mention the fact that he was emotionally and physically abusive to her.

I agree, he had a chance for sure. He really made Whitney laugh it's so cute! Although if they got together he would need to pay her a lot of attention. You see how annoyed she is that he didn't make time to watch her tapes haha. But overall there is a lot love there...definitely a missed opportunity.

If you watch an interview with New Edition on Oprah, Bobby described how he proposed to her. He actually gave her a smaller ring and he said she kept waving it out of the sunroof and stuff and then he pulled how the real one. I'm not a huge fan of Bobby Brown as a person, but his proposal wasn't as short as she made it seem in this clip. And I have great respect for him not speaking ill of her in her passing. Because he could've stopped really low and he didn't, which shows maturity, I think. Sometimes we love people who aren't good for us and don't realize until it's too late. No matter how passionate.

MickeyDs14 He Did Speak Ill Of Her .. When Whitney Did Her Interview With Oprah She Talked About Him Respectively & Like She Even Said There Are Things She Could've Said That She Did Not .. Unlike Him He Accused Her Of Cheating With Tupac & Many Other Artists And Producers That She Worked With .. He Said She Was Bisexual With Robyn Crawford Which Whitney Has Denied So Even If It Was True Out Of Respect For The Mother Of You Child & Your Ex-Wife Who He Claims To Still Love He Shoulda Just Left That Alone .. It Was Disrespectful And He Had No Right To Speak On That .. He Talked About Their Sex Life Pretty Vividly .. More Details Than Were Necessary & Called Her A "Down-Ass Horny Chick" .. He Said That She Would Get High In Front Of Bobbi Kris & He Would Have To Lock Her In The Room And Tell Her That He didnt Want Their Daughter To See That Which Honestly I Just Do Not Believe ... He Said Some Really Ignorant Things In His Book While Whitney Didnt Say Too Much Of Anything That We Didnt Already Know Or Found Hard To Believe

Coming out of commercial after the end of this last segment with Whitney sitting on her floor and her cat/rat on her lap, Bobcat Goldthwait was on the couch with Arsenio. As a comedian, he gave props to Arsenio being a gentleman for NOT making the obvious joke with "a beautiful woman sitting stroking a long haired cat on her lap" - the real-life setup in parallel with that famous fake Johnny Carson/ Zsa Zsa Tonight Show joke which had never actually happened.

Then where did you get your info from? At least he could go to her funeral and I saw his picture sitting in his seat and then standing up for no reason. Also, as I said he cheated on his wife several times BEFORE he divorced. And he simply married another woman just a few months later whitney died. Do you think he deserves respect? I don't know if you're his fan or holier-than-thou, I really hate him. You shouldn't deny he cooperated making her life miserable. Sure he did

I don't think her life went into decline after they divorced. Hell she actually looked a thousand times better. She had gotten back on track but after that NBL tour that was so dreadful on her emotionally she relapsed. But that happens when you are trying to get clean a few times. BBB is the one who still struggles with addiction and arrests for DUI's to this date. He isn't together at all imho. She is out of her struggles and RIP's. I don't think he is at peace even with himself.

Bobby was already re-married BEFORE Whitney died. Guess you missed the photo of him and his WIFE at the airport on their way to LA the morning after Whitney died. You know what I think? I think you have emotional issues and are projecting them on Bobby because he's an easy target. I feel sorry for you because your hate is misguided. Whitney didn't hate Bobby. So I don't see how you justify your hate for him by using her life as an excuse. If U hate him, fine. Don't bring Whit into it.
