Video interview with guitarist Max Kakacec and lead vocalist/drummer Julien Ehrlich from American indie-folk band Whitney. FaceCulture spoke with Max and Julien about the Smith Westerns break up, sharing a house together, doing diffirent projects before Whitney, writing vocals more seriously, Golden Days, collaborations, compromising, their connection, shared experiences, Tame Impala, being hopefull, their band name, Light Upon the Lake, and a lot more!

Sorry, I didn’t mean that to come out so harshly. I just wish there was more discussion of the themes and ideas behind the music, as opposed to the logistics of band membership etc. I’m sure I’m in the minority with this so you can probably disregard! 😂
