Nabbit could possibly be a Ninji, because both have a similar body shape.

Maybe Nabbit could be a true hero since he’s invincible and can defeat bowser without dying unless if he jumps in lava but Mario could die by enemy damage so it messes his hero system up

i atuly have made a theory about this over on twitter, my idea while the whole bandana thing is that just like in the paper mario games, they are used as small add on powers, witch also goes for bowser jr, the thing is tho is the more clean or professionally made the bandana is, the better it's power works, like with dream catchers and cheep stuff like that. my idea of what he's doing is trying to figer out how to become a better theaf cus of mario and his friends catching him alot, witch is why he's studying and even helping mario, to see ware they fall flat
