I am a Sunni, but I recently visited a 12'er Shia masjid. On the way I saw a Dawoodi Bohra masjid. I was curious who the Alavi Bohras were, so this was a very useful video

We saw many comments criticising the alavi bohra community that they are a copy of dawoodi bohra as those images suggest. I would like to clarify one thing that we have not abandoned our years old traditions. When we look at our 80 year old pictures, we are still the same. Additionally, alavi bohra's daai is far more knowledgeable than any other leader. He recently got an honorary doctorate degree in the field of islamic research from the top university of Iran named Al-Mustafa International University. The community is only 10000. Yet our daai has relations with different gulf countries in the field of knowledge. It does not matter if the clothes are the same or not, our daai is more humble than any other leader and he is not a businessman.
