The girls are extremely prettier in real life. Though the first time I was shocked about someone's beauty was Jisoo's. Before I even saw them in real life a lot of people has already been talking about how much pictures and videos don't do justice on Jisoo's beauty. When I saw Jisoo irl, I didn't know someone can literally look more flawless irl, plus she was also very kind and her interaction with fans is A+ (all blackpink members are really kind irl as someone who has been on their send off thing after their concert)

That’s why they are so awesome. So fierce on stage yet so down to earth girl next door lovable girls off stage. I think that’s why captures me so much. And I’ve always loved the way they dress off stage and act normal instead of trying to keep up some stage persona. So conservative on the clothes even with a lot of mid drift and that’s very cool to see

Blackpink is definitely happy pills. I agree they are unique and hopefully you can see why their fandom is so devoted. The fact they are so relatable and so down to earth make them more loveable. Actually Lisa is up to about 7 languages Thai, English, Korean, Japanese, basic Mandarin, a little bit of Indonesian and Tagalog

Please don't exaggerate. Just a phrase here and there doesn't qualify. I can learn 8 sentences of Spanish, German, Portuguese, Korean, Arabic and Dutch and that meant I can speak 6 languages on top of the 3 languages I already know and 4 dialects. Only if you can understand and converse like a 5 year kid, only then can you say you can speak a little of that language.

@@ignatiuschua5268 Exaggerate? I started off saying "about" 7 languages(which is leaving room for Lisa not being that good at some).... The first 3 are fluent, with Japanese may be less fluent (but improving). "Basic" Mandarin(still improving and learning).... that is why the word basic is there, enough to get her point accross and understand what's being said "most" of the time(ie. Youth With You for 2 seasons). As for the last 2 is did say "A LITTLE BIT OF"....I'm guessing English isn't your first language.

@@snens8792 I personally don't like these crack guides as introduction to Blackpink. The crack isn't needed. The girls are more than funny and entertaining enough without a guide creator trying to constantly add additional mostly artificial "gags" or "funny commentary" through subtitles, sound effects or crazy editing. That just distracts from Blackpink. It even can lead to misunderstandings or misinformation, when a new fan views them. Crack guides are more from and for longtime fans, who already watched the sources for the used clips and also get the added insider jokes.

Haha I feel you, man. I was the same way when I first heard their music a couple years ago. I had no previous interest in kpop but with Blackpink I suddenly fell into a hole where I just wanted to listen to all their music immediately and watch a bunch of these guides and compilations, along with their reality show stuff and all these reactions from others like yourself.

Great reaction. Oh yeah, we love seeing you react to our girls, it is like reliving the first time we saw those videos. The music is awesome, their talent is awesome, but they are just as awesome. Check out the Jensoo videos (Jennie & Jisoo acting like an adorable old married couple), the Chaesoo videos (Rose and Jisoo acting like an adorable mom daughter combo), the Lisoo videos (Lisa and Jisoo acting like the biggest most lovable dorks in the world), and Jenlisa videos (Jennie and Lisa acting like a young romantic couple). Yup, this is the one, and IMO one of the best intro's. The "nobody asked" line was said by Jennie, to Lisa, not to her - savage! Regarding your "usual" listening genres, and your reactions to all these others you're being exposed to through this channel, it's the musicianship and vocals that are what's drawing you and the "metal" is really just where you were first exposed to it 😎

I really recommend BlackPink - Diaries once you have time for it or just need a smile on your face. Its mostly them filming it themselves (though professionally edited) during their world tour, showing a lot behind the scenes, them just hanging out, Lisa torturing Rosé etc.

When you where talking about female vocalist , a veteran in the K-Pop world is Taeyeon, who is part of the group called Girls Generation. One of my fav from her is TAEYEON 태연 'I (feat. Verbal Jint). I love your reaction about our Queens, i smiled for almost 34mins.. Definitely they are fun to be with just watching them, they are pretty savage and bad ass in their mvs but in reality they are cute, funny and adorable.. They have a strong bond, they lived together for 10 yrs(if im not mistaken) since trainee days.. They have documentaries and reality shows, you can check it and you will continue loving them lol.. Loved your reaction! This is me when i react to them they put me in a better mood. If you liked a lot of these clips you will definitely enjoy blackpink's reality series. They have a few series with most of these clips being from "blackpink house" (shows the girls on a 100 day vacation back in 2018)which you can watch on your own time on youtube or amazon prime if you have it. There is also blackpink diaries(shows behind the scenes from their 2019 world tour) and also their most recent one "24/365 with blackpink" (which is filmed during their 2020 comeback schedule and shows them going on outings and such) The first you cant really react to on youtube w/o it being blocked but the last two you can and they are not very long episodes either so its perfect for reaction videos.

I think your comments are right about their appeal. They are NOT taking their clothes off. If they're wearing something you find sexy, it's always more of a fashion statement than any T & A display. This group is WOWing you with sheer talent all the way. young girls watching them have very different reactions too. They really do represent that female empowerment vibe by just being themselves as much as they are allowed. I mean, nearly all of their appearances are planned & choreographed. And they're not allowed to do things other artists do. But it also means they are quality controlled too.

Blackpink really is the best name for them. I love their duality and I know that it describes the types of songs they have but for me, it's also a comparison in their life. Musically they are like the black side (boss bitch, slaying vibes) and in real life, they are like the pink side (adorable, sweet, down to earth) Watching their reality shows (Blackpink House, Blackpink Diaries and 24/365 with Blackpink) on KZfaq really made me fall in love with them. They are each so relatable. we really do want to be friends with them

i'am half korean and half french so i try to speak 3 language FRENCH /KOREAN and ENGLISH and i can't master even my birth language it's to hard to switch between the 3 . so think than all korean idol speak minimum 3 language and many of them like LISA can speak 5 not 4 like she said but now she can also speak chinese . JENNIE also speak KOREAN / JAPANESE /ENGLISH and she learn FRENCH

I think it's that you NEVER see asian girls with such big personalities, right? Their reality type shows that feature them doing fun things together usually away from the stage, are right on point. It's not only that they appear to be amazing human beings. But they also appear to be THE best friends you always wished that you had. I love that they are allowed to show how cuddly and close they are. Can you imagine the 3 of them huddled together in one room trying to hang on to each other as a team. And Rose' lands from Australia with THAT voice. You need to visit us in our room, sing songs all night,... and Oh, bring all your stuff. Because YOU are staying with us,.... FOREVER!!!! There was actually a fifth member who left before they debuted.

You should check out Mamamoo :) they are considered the vocal queens of kpop, not to mention they have, in my opinion, the BEST personalities. I love black pink too! They were one of the finest groups I got into when I discovered kpop. Love watching your kpop journey!

very entertaining reaction :) I still insist that you should react to (not only watch) "Light Up The Sky" (Netflix). Just keep the camera rolling and the lights on. ;-) Many of the clips from fan-made videos like the guide you watched today are from their reality tv / vlog style shows like "Blackpink House" (2018),, "Blackpink Diaries" (2019) or "24/365 with Blackpink" (2020). All available for free on their official KZfaq. And yes, the 4 girls are very close with each other. When they had their debut in 2016 they already had lived for 4-6 years together in their company's dormitory as trainees and they continued to live together after debut. It is no wonder, that they are really close with each other after all these years like best friends or family. Otherwise Blackpink would not exist today.

I knew some fellow BLINKS have been passionately asking you to do the crack guide 2020 version by Kil Mixes, but then again when it comes to a fan-made guide for BLACKPINK the written informations between any versions ain't that much different to each other and saying a guide better over another is always plainly very subjective cuz it's all based on someone's personal preference... So in my conclusion you dont really have to do a fan-made guide video for multiple times, like once is more than enough. But for an exception if you still wanna do the crack guide 2020 version then i can't really say more about that cuz if you really enjoy it then why not.... and i saw 'The Revolution: A Story of BLACKPINK' [by Asian Theory] also oftenly comes as the most suggested introduction's video within your comment sections, of course it's still remains as a decent non-official documentary video but i'm gonna remind you that in a certain lines during a particular scene you'll get bombarded by a few of thought provoking theories which i'd say kinda intentionally written in a 'bias' way... And based on the name of their channel as 'Asian Theory', again you need to keep in mind that their journalism type of video will be full of self-proclaimed theories made by their staff, so please becareful to not easily taking anything too serious and please be aware of some sensitive quotes along their video... enjoy and have a nice day buddy...

Of course the Netflix docu is a must watch but I would also advise against watching many more fan guides, especially if its crack guide or the revolution. If another fan guide than only the journey and friendship guide comes to my mind. That would supplement well with the unhelpful guide adding context and delivering a more emotional, personal viewpoint. Another "funny" guide like crack or a somewhat problematic guide like "the revolution" would be bad choices in my personal opinion.

@@Guthwulf11 IMO Journey and Friendship is probably the most OT4 content that is most genuine and raw due the girls being the narrator of the content instead of someone speaking for them and putting a twist into their words and actions. Its probably the most legit one out their right now that id recommend. The others are in a different lane. For long time blinks and entertainment purposes its great though. Though informative gems can also be found in fanmade guide videos.

@@soominam3345 I completely agree. Of course putting different original statements together (out of the original context) and editing them in a certain way can still result in an (even unintentional) "manipulation". But its better than any alternative.
