Want to agree but can't. Max is my favourite fighter and his last performance delivered, for me, the greatest moment in UFC history. But even I would feel more feverish anticipation for Chimaev's next fight than I would Max's. Crazy, but true, and I guess that means he's a bigger star. He's just electrifies an arena with his mere presence despite recent 'fraud checks'.

Topuria's potential is low key underrated, his only fight he didnt finish he went 5 rounds dominating josh emmett and imo no featherweight can give him a tough fight, imagine how amazing his record & resume is if he beats holloway, evloev and o'malley in the next couple years. He's 27, is it not valid to say he can become not only the featherweight goat but also top 7ish p4p all time in the next few years?? are we just expecting him to fall off or something because if he doesnt hes on a diabolical path and he has 4 - 6 more years in his physical prime

Its why they’ll probably save him for abu dhabi or saudi or something as hes only a star outside of that area (where as inside hes a mega star and easily top 5)
