Right. I think Murray should only use Rev 9 in only helping to understand that second stage swarmers of the locust because the locust that comes out of the pit are the fallen angels for that last 5 months.

Just adding to your point-- the locust army comes out of the smoke of the pit which symbolizes deception and only at the beginning of the 5 month period for they are supernatural--look at verse 8 in Joel 2- Joel 2:4-8 [4]The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. In joel we are told the YEARS taken will be restored. It's translated correctly. The YEARS are taken by the first 3 stages...the 4th stage is the iron ones that come with Satan...and that 4th stage is not YEARS

gisg2243 is right. The only person we ever see actually ascend out of the bottomless pit is satan after the thousand years are finished. satan and his angels get cast out of heaven at the woe of the fifth trumpet. Heaven isn't the bottomless pit.

The good and bad figs aren't really a thing until the 7th trumpet though...the bad fig tree is the one that was set up in 1948 but the good fig tree is in heaven...that's why you see the stars fall from heaven at 666 as figs because that's when most Christians get removed from God's family tree and grafted into satan's family tree along with the Kenites who are the natural branches thereof.

Read Revelation 12:9 where it says 'And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the devil, and satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.' See there where it says 'he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him'? Then two and a half months later he will come up out of the earth (that he got cast out into) when he appears as the antichrist.

@@peterjennen99 The five months starts at the woe of the fifth trumpet so then the woe of the sixth trumpet would obviously happen halfway through what would have been seven years but is now five months. Remember how Daniel's 70th Week is split into two equal parts? So then if the seven years was shortened to five months then obviously the five months is split into two equal parts.

I'm going to try and explain some of what I understand about the 70th week of Daniel. If we look at the description in Daniel 9:24-27, focusing in on the happenings foretold to happen after the first 69 weeks, we can see what happens in the 70th week: The Messiah is cut off - 33AD The city is destroyed - 70AD The prince that shall come (the abomination) makes desolate until the consummation, at which time that which is determined (pre-planned), is poured on the desolate - The vial judgments of Revelation are yet to be fulfilled. There is no way one can cram those three into a 7 year time period. Let's step back for just a moment and consider the Sabbatical cycle of the first 69 weeks. They were 7 year periods and the Sabbath of them was the 7th year. OK. Now, Jesus is our Passover. Passover is the High Sabbath. Here are some passages that Paul wrote of: Col 2:16&17, "Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ." 1Cor 5:6-8, "Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us: Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth." Hopefully now you can see why the 70th week spans such a large time. If you do see this, take a moment and re-read the close of the Book of Revelation and consider who gave us the Cannon. I am thankful for the truths God has allowed me to understand. When I listen to what is being taught in the name of Christ today it makes me sad and I have to ask, how will anyone ever come to the truth by listening to what is being taught? Matthew 24:5, "For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many." Might I make a suggestion? Make yourself a timeline for Biblical events, identifying how you understand things now. Then, periodically add in more times as you understand things. Be prepared to make amendments as you buy into better understanding. Just as the 70th week of Daniel is not a 7 year period, you should also discover the length of the “time of trouble”, a.k.a. the “Great Tribulation” is the same span of time. The last “time, times, and a half”, written of in Daniel chapter 7 is the 42 months of Revelation 13, and that will be the ending of this time of salvation by belief in Jesus Christ. I hope this helps.
