unironically yes. Character fits super well in the modern meta. safe and ditjointed buttons, one of the fastest airspeeds in the game, high damage, early kills and his projectiles are nuts

I picked up mii brawler about a year and a half ago. Got him to elite, and basically dropped him except against friends on occasion. My friend recently decided to pick up swordfighter and he's getting good results too. I need a mii gunner friend to complete the trifecta.

WaDi with the HARDEST read on Meta Knight making a breakout performance. Abadango had a crazy run at Kagaribi and 3-0'd Protobanham with MK VERY shortly after this.

Someday Marss needs to just go Hero or Falcon or one of his “meme characters” and play like he’s playing friendlies and he’ll go crazy. Sometimes it seems like Marss is at his best when he’s goofing around.

to be fair, the skill of players he usually fights when he's goofing around is usually a lot less as well. And when he does fight better players in friendlies, they arent usually bracket level tryharding either. Things are a lot different in bracket when youre fighting other top level players and theyre keeping track of all your mix ups and habits and playing much more seriously. Thats not to say the DK cant work, but its definitely not like "playing as if its friendlies and not trying" is a good solution long term. Top players will generally read your habits and adapt pretty quickly. Might take a game or two, but probably wont be a solution long term.

10:19 Yuusha actually gets MORE MP hitting shield than hitting opponents cause of the math. The wiki states: *"If Hero hits an opponent or a shield with a normal attack, he will gain MP equal to 0.8× of the hitbox's or throw's base damage output; aside from shield damage, no other mechanics (such as the extra damage from charging smashes) will be applyied. As shields receive 1.19× more damage from attacks, hitting shields will generally restore more MP unless the attack has reduced shield damage, such as his Critical Hit smash attacks."*

@@illford Same! I'm a Marth main and there are ways to make his tippers way more consistent. I know the buffs made him way more consistent (something a LOT of top players don't know about), but Slingshot really helps Marth out. There's also a tech that particularly makes tipper F-Smash for consistent. It's called "Stutter Stepping." Also, it's easier to use Marth with high sensitivity settings on your controller. The amount of Tippers I get in one game is crazy. I don't struggle to get kills nearly as much as people claim I should be. The dude can get kills so early, has Lucina's frame data, was buffed, but still nobody looks into him thoroughly :(

This video’s *Ring the Bell* ratings: First 8/10, Second 8/10 First: I think it’s genuinely funny that in a 3 person video including Wadi, the other two people SIMULTANEOUSLY tried to imitate Wadi’s iconic CTA. It was in a bit of a mocking fashion, which kinda detracts from it, but still very funny overall Second: I was not expecting Wadi to do another one at the end of the video! A nice surprise for sure. Didn’t have the weight behind it that his most iconic CTAs have, but hot damn does he know how to ring

Out of the characters to MOST likely to breakout. No doubt it be Sora. I mean esam is right about rush down fighters still have a disadvantage. If Sora makes one connect just one. It’s either an instant 0 to 80 or a 0 to death. His spells aren’t utilized either. Blizzaga is such an underrated spell for shield damage and free damage. Thundaga can set up easy and safe kill confirms. Firaga can start/extend combos and set up kill confirms. No one is going to mention down smash is good on shield call outs? Plus it’s safe from get up and big hit box

I was surprised not to see inkling on this list. Inkling fell off since the beginning of ultimate, similar to Yoshi, but has the kit to win. With moves like jab, b-air, Splatbomb, and other great tools inkling really has potential. She also has amazing edgeguarding

I think greninja could really break thanks to his good combos, good mobility and good kill confirms. I also think that piranha plant could become a very solid high tier if people pick him up but I might just be crazy idk

Dang Wadi was spot on about MK needing to play like a jerk, Abadango spent his entire bracket run just fishing for dash attacks and up air ladders and deep edgeguards and it just worked. Of course he also played neutral solid enough to get those opportunities, so a pretty great showing all around.

I think if Banjo has a really good player piloting the character, he can break out for sure. He can mixup so much and do so much thing, and he just plays a different game than a lot of other characters. I think he definitely breaks out if the player knows how to do Kazooie Fast Cancels consistently

Sheik is gonna move way up the tier list. It happened in smash 4 and it will happen again. The more time that passes the better sheik will be in the meta. I think Rosalina might be similar as well. And to some extent marth as well. I think the tipper can kill early similar to Roy's sweetspot. And i think there's potential to develop more tech and combos that link into tipper.

I have videos of me absolutely destroying people as Marth... his tippers are RIDICULOUS. He's gonna be called a top tier at some point. His kill potential and frame data is crazy good. People just don't want to use him because Lucina is easier.

@@Spyder-Marth Yeah, and the problem is, until someone good decides to actually dedicate more time and effort into Marth, when they could do everything easier with Lucina, he won't move up on a lot of tier lists because there isn't proof on concept. Everyone will keep thinking he's inconsistent until someone can prove he isn't

@@rayless Facts. His tippers aren't even that hard to land now that he was buffed. You just have to know when to swing and not fish for tippers constantly. Some Marth players are just way too aggressive and lose despite being great at combos, too.

Honestly I think it’s Marth. It’s taken people a long time to get consistent tippers with him but now that people have started being able to do it consistently he’s lethal. A friend of mine regularly gets one hit kills at about 50 and combo kills at 20-30. Dragging people off stage and tipper Nair, Fair, and Dair is a nightmare.

With Marss' conditioning gamestyle, Mii Brawler could mess up the meta. If the character doesn't need neutral (in which Marss excels), the kill confirms could carry him to get easy top 8's and have good counterpicks from there.

He's a solid mid tier. His oos options are pretty crappy, his hurtbox is gigantic, his dtilt only has fake follow ups, his air speed is doodoo, theres just no universe where he is even high tier.

Rocco I play him online a lot. I'm a Link. Link gets zero to deathed in the MU you have to camp it out the whole time. I win sometimes though. He is really good, I could see him winning a regional, unless MK is actual garbage against the characters the up air combo doesn't work against.

idk why people counterpick sora when they have barely played as him. like that character takes time to learn even tho sakurai said it's a good beginner character. i just hate how people just meme on him for losing just because the player has barely even played him. like why do the players think they are gonna get a easy win with barely any practice? or do they just pick him to make the character look bad?

I think they could’ve gotten away with not nerfing chromicide and he wouldn’t be played a whole lot more than he is now. He’d be undeniably better than he is currently, but he wouldn’t be like top 5 like he was back at launch (similar to how people thought inkling was nuts but as time went on, inkling stock went down)

I see no one mention the bayo placement but I sure as hell beileve it especially with her witch strike tech that guarantees they can’t SDI that needs to be optimized more
