I'm now studying druidry, with a focus on the Irish traditions and 'pantheon'. I absolutely see the sidhe as a communal spirit that we (those with Hibernian roots) have all inherited. The legends say they were a great folk that chose to withdraw to the hills as magical beings after an invasion, but perhaps they exist within us now as part of our humanity and shared culture.

I have recently bought a copy of, "Finding Your Elven Heart". The love and respect that I have for these beings is immense. I first became familiar with the faerie world from Brian Froud. When I was younger I was completely in love with movies like, "The Dark Crystal", "Labyrinth" and as an adult the Elven race in, "Lord of the Rings". I have also thoroughly enjoyed the works of David Spangler and John Matthews about the Sidhe. Glad I stumbled upon your videos!

Hi Soren, interesting video. It would be interesting for humanity to wake up to alternate realms of beings coexisting parallel to human realm & sharing the same planet of Mother Earth/Gaia. I have some sidhe ancestry, so they aren't really hidden from me & have had quite a few interactions. The wee good folk(seelie), are always around especially the tiny light beings that swarm around playing in the sunshine. They are a joy to behold! I can see them due to peripheral interdimensional vision I was born with. Good luck in your attempt to connect realms.

I met one while hunting in MT. I only learned recently what a Sidhe is. I asked a women who can communicate with our angels/guides who are trying to help us who or what he is. He's a very interesting person. He has faults and is very human like thou he is a shape shifter. I thought he was a Sasquatch at first but he's different somehow. They're like us without the limitations we place upon ourselves. I look forward to learning more but I've learned to be careful, he's a trickster. But he is also my friend too. Recently he was here setting off all the neighborhood motion sensor lights. It was a little freaky but fun. I love the guy.

I have Irish friends who still avoid fairy hills and leave bowls of milk for the Sidhe.
