Its ironic that the largest piece of sanskrit speakers are from tamilnadu😂 while many people outside still hold up sanskrit as if its always a battle between two languages but yet tamilnadu still tries to keep sanskrit alive in daily life

Malayalam is the youngest of tamil language group. It's first literary work called RAMA SARITHAM is dated to 12th century CE. And it's first dedicated grammer work called LEELA THILAGAM is dated to 15th century. (Source: History of Malayalam Literatures by Saahitya Academy)

Pandian kings were the best traders through the sea cause their trade with other countries made our tamil language speard over the world , like the tamil names are given to many places in other countries like malaysia, indonesia, and in china too and there is a sculture gateway in the indonesia built by the chola kings , but now the aryans(north indians) were pushings those hindi into us forcebly.

Tamils became rich because they had greatest Metallurgy of the ancient world the spice is only fraction of there trade, the major export is Textiles and Metals. The famous steel known as Damascus steel originated in southern India called as wootz, in Tamil they called it Uruku which literally means melt, and that's the secret of the Damascus ancient India found a way to melt Iron 2000 years before anyone in the world

The Tamil Pallava script is called Granta, which they created to write both Sanskrit and Tamil with one script, and spread it to southeast Asia, because they are the pioneers of the southeast Asia trade along with Kalinga, they modified it and used it to write their languages and Sanskrit, you can find lots of influence of Sanskrit and Tamil languages.

There is so much thing wrong in this video but one thing bugs me more than anything is the information he provided on Dravidian vs Aryan topic, as a Tamilian let me clarify one thing clearly here most Tamil people don't hate Sanskrit or Hindi, it's the voice of very few people (who are essentially the worlds first SJW group) which is a legacy of british's effect to divide Indians, apparently the group also begged british to not give independence to India, unfortunately the same group still in power in Tamil Nadu, it's a long story, in short you have understood what Aryan Invasion Theory is and its complete history which goes back to colonial period, essentially Christian and Colonialist used it to demonize Hinduism and blamed certain community called Brahmins as villains naming them as Aryan who are invaders its complicated but most importantly you have to here both sides of story to make any educated guess, there is lots and lots of politics involved in this topic local and geopolitics, which what lacking in the cogito video, it's a serious issue people were killed genocides are called for openly, so its best for foreigners don't talk about these issues unless they read the full history.

My ancestors were affected by the British Raj rule, my ancestors are from Tamil Nadu. The British brought my ancestors to then British colony in Malaya now Malaysia in the late 18 hundreds to be indentured labourers. They cleared the jungles to plant rubber trees because the locals Malays are so lazy. Many died of malaria but now I'm the 4th generation. I've 2 daughters and both are doctors and they studied in Maniipal medical University in India with RM 500,000 for each that is 1 million MYR. One already migrated to Australia and the next is in the waiting list. There's no future here.we have to move forward for a better future ❤❤❤ Nice video ❤😂

Damascus sword / Seric steel is from Keralam. 'Seric' being derived from 'Seres', the Persian name for the 'Chera' dynasty/Cheralam/Keralam in Southern India. Much later, British scholars referred to it as 'Wootz' steel, a mispronunciation of the 'Urukku'.

Tamils don't hate other languages they just don't want to compulsorily learn hindi when needed we do learn it and many learn it as an extra language too but we don't use it and forget it...we have a 2 language system in schools where we learn tamil and english to communicate in our mother tongue and then with others all over the world. But with imposition of hindi we need to learn 3 languages while others just have to learn 2. It takes up more stress in school. We r usually offered to choose tamil, hindi,Malayalam, french too if we want to learn its up to us. Of course we by default can easily pick up Malayalam and Telugu as they are our neighbors. Actually we just don't have a need to use hindi in our day to day life. We do pick up a bit of hindi from movies and we do learn the local language when we go to other states like any other person to survive. Irrespective of what under the british rule accross the world english has become a language that is needed imagine writing a python code in tamil or hindi its not practical. We all learn english to survive. I am sure all the schools in the hindi speeking states also teach english so when there is already an established language to communicate why do we have to learn hindi it really doesn't make sense. But alas many in the hindi states don't understand the practical difficulty and they say we are less patriotic because we don't want to learn their mother tongue. Just why not respect our mother tongue too we r not asking u to make tamil into a national language or even for u to learn it we just want to preserve our language and culture too. Actually many northern languages have dimnished in usage because they took up hindi during independence the hindi speeking population was not as significant as its now. We just want learn what we want as promised by our constitution and to not dimnish like other smaller languages.
