I LOVE this conversation! We gotta normalize having different personas in different situations/ to different people in the black community ; rather than thinking it’s being fake ! I 100% am not the same person that i am with my ghetto ratchet friends as i am with my white hippie friends! FUNDAMENTALLY there are factors about me that never change, like keke said. I am always present , i never ignore people/cut them off when they’re speaking. I’m also *never* on my phone when they’re speaking. I am also VERY loyal, i will do everything and anything for my friends, even when i don’t always get that same energy returned. I _try_ to keep my word! Even when i technically don’t keep my word about doing something by a specific day that i said i would…., i still make sure to get it done! 💜
